      Matt Vierling clobbered a leadoff home run off of Spencer Turnbull on Wednesday afternoon, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Tigers past the Phillies.

      Advice: The 27-year-old slugger evened the score at a run apiece when he crushed the second pitch that Turnbull threw for a 413-foot (106.1 mph EV) solo shot to start the home half of the first inning.
