    • Joe Ryan strikes out 10 in no-decision vs. M’s
Joe Ryan recorded 10 strikeouts and was charged with two runs (one earned) over 5 2/3 innings on Sunday in a no-decision against the Mariners.

Advice: Ryan delivered an outstanding performance on Sunday afternoon at T-Mobile Park, generating 16 swinging strikes - including 11 on his four-seam fastball alone - and finished with a near-elite 36 percent CSW. He gave up six hits and didn’t hand out a free pass, although he did hit a pair of batters as well. The 28-year-old upper-echelon fantasy contributor recorded his second double-digit strikeout performance of the season and will aim to keep the momentum going when he faces the Astros on Saturday in his penultimate outing prior to the All-Star break. • Blasts 10th home run
Bohm went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Bohm raked in June with five home runs and 20 RBI in 24 games this month. However, Bohm was 1-for-16 over his previous four games and got back on track, blasting his 10th homer Sunday. The fifth-year breakout continues for Bohm, who now has 68 RBI this season, the third-most in MLB. The 27-year-old has been one of the most consistent third basemen in MLB, hitting .300/.350/.489 over 81 games. Rotowire.com Sunday, 3:05 pm

    • Expected to be activated Tuesday
Atlanta is expected to activate Minter (hip) from the 15-day injured list Monday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Advice: While making his third rehab appearance for Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday, Minter tossed a scoreless inning. Assuming his left hip is feeling fine coming out of the minor-league outing, he should join Atlanta for the start of its three-game series versus the Giants. Daysbel Hernandez was optioned to Gwinnett following Atlanta's 4-2 loss to the Pirates on Sunday, creating an opening in the bullpen for Minter. Rotowire.com Sunday, 2:42 pm

    • Guardians activate Gavin Williams from 60-day IL
Guardians activated RHP Gavin Williams from the 60-day injured list.

Advice: Williams will make his season debut this week against the White Sox after missing the first three months of the season with his elbow trouble. The 24-year-old right-hander is one of the most talented hurlers on the Cleveland roster, and while there may be some rust to clear even after making rehab starts, he is well worth fantasy consideration — especially against a team like the White Sox. • Returns from 60-day IL
The Guardians reinstated Williams (elbow) from the 60-day injured list Sunday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Cleveland designated right-hander Darren McCaughan for assignment and demoted right-hander Triston McKenzie to Triple-A Columbus to clear spots on the 40-man roster, 26-man active roster and in the rotation for Williams, who is poised to make his 2024 debut for the Guardians during the club's three-game series versus the White Sox this week. Williams had been on the shelf all season after injuring his right elbow during a weighted-ball workout in spring training, but he looks to be stretched out for starting duty after covering five and four innings in the final two of his six rehab outings at Triple-A Columbus. After turning in a 3.29 ERA in 16 starts as a rookie in 2023, Williams makes for an appealing pickup in shallower formats where he might still be kicking around on the waiver wire. • Scores twice, drives in two
Pena went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored Saturday against the Mets.

Advice: Pena did the majority of his damage with a two-RBI double in the fourth inning. He has now driven in eight runs across his last seven starts, and he's also hit .320 in that span. Pena has just a .099 ISO across 327 plate appearances this season, though he's cut his strikeout rate to 16.5 percent and is hitting a career-best .281. Rotowire.com Sunday, 12:22 am

    • Lifts fourth homer
Lowe went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Lowe has four multi-hit efforts over his last nine games, a span that also includes two of his four homers this year. The first baseman has never displayed elite power, but his .369 slugging percentage for the season is low even by his standard. He's at least been fairly consistent at the plate, batting .262 with 27 RBI, 25 runs scored, two stolen bases and 11 doubles over 62 contests. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:18 pm
    • Lowe has three hits, two-run homer in loss
Nathaniel Lowe went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in a loss Saturday to the Orioles.

Advice: Lowe also doubled. The homer was a two-run shot that got the Rangers back in the game to make it a 5-4 score in the sixth. The 28-year-old has not shown a ton of power thus far in 2024, as his .262 average and .348 on-base percentage have been dragged down by just four roundtrippers and a .369 slugging mark over 214 at-bats. • George Springer in Saturday’s lineup vs. Yankees
George Springer (hand) is in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Yankees.

Advice: This certainly qualifies as a welcome surprise for fantasy managers following Springer’s early exit from Friday’s game against the Yankees after being hit on his left hand by a 93.5 mph fastball. The positive news here is that precautionary X-rays came back negative for any fractures and the fact that he’s already back in the lineup means that the swelling isn’t bad enough that it’s preventing him from gripping a bat. It’s been a down year offensively for the 34-year-old veteran outfielder, but the Blue Jays need his bat in the lineup if they’re going to have any shot at turning things around before the trade deadline.
