• Notches third save
Kopech registered a save against the Rays on Wednesday, allowing one hit in one scoreless inning.

Advice: Kopech had a relatively easy time closing things out with a three-run lead Wednesday -- though he gave up a one-out infield single, the right-hander got the next batter to ground into a game-ending double play. It was the third save of the season for Kopech, though his most recent save prior to Wednesday came all the way back on April 9. Four different pitchers have notched a save for the White Sox this season, but Kopech appears to be the team's primary closer, as he's the only one among the four with multiple save conversions. • Bryan Ramos collects two hits in win over Rays
Bryan Ramos went 2-for-4 with a double, run scored and an RBI as the White Sox triumphed over the Rays on Wednesday evening.

Advice: Ramos led off the fifth inning with a double off of Aaron Civale, then rode home on Paul DeJong’s go-ahead two-run blast. He then added an insurance run with an RBI single in the sixth inning that extended the White Sox’ lead to 3-1. He has impressed in his limited action thus far, hitting .357/.375/.429 with a pair of RBI and two runs scored in his first 14 at-bats. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:07 pm

  • Michael Kopech closes out Rays to earn third save
Michael Kopech picked up his third save of the season on Wednesday night, working a scoreless ninth inning to protect a three-run lead against the Rays.

Advice: Despite the fact that he allowed a one-out single to Harold Ramirez, Kopech still made it look easy — battling right back to get Isaac Paredes to bounce into a game-ending double play. He needed just 10 pitches (seven strikes) to get the job done. Save chances have been few and far between for the White Sox this season, but Kopech has done a nice job overall with a 3.93 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and a 25/10 K/BB ratio across his 18 1/3 innings while converting three of his first four save chances. • Exits game with tight hamstring
Drury was removed from Wednesday's game against the Pirates after six innings due to left hamstring tightness. He went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run and one RBI prior to departing.

Advice: Drury previously contended with the same injury back in mid-April. He missed a few games with the hamstring injury at the time, and he may not have fully healed up from the injury. Manager Ron Washington should have more information about Drury's condition following the completion of Wednesday's contest. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:00 pm

  • Posts three hits in win
Ramirez went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 11-7 loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Ramirez endured an 0-for-17 slump over a five-game stretch from April 30 to May 4, but he's bounced back by going 5-for-11 with two homers and five RBI over his last three contests. That slump has still left a mark -- the third baseman is slashing .245/.290/.448 on the year with seven homers, 30 RBI, five steals and 24 runs scored through 155 plate appearances. He's on track to get back over the 100-RBI mark after missing out in 2023. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:55 am
