    • Mookie Betts swats leadoff homer in win on Sunday
Mookie Betts swatted a leadoff home run on Sunday afternoon, helping to propel the Dodgers to victory over the visiting Rockies.

Advice: Betts didn’t waste much time in this one, crushing the third pitch that Austin Gomber threw for a 354-foot (95.8 mph EV) solo shot to give the Dodgers an early lead that they’d never relinquish. That would be the 31-year-old superstar’s only hit in four at-bats in the ballgame. For the season, Betts is now hitting a sublime .318/.412/.515 with nine homers, 32 RBI and nine stolen bases. • Zach Neto plates lone run in loss to Mariners
Zach Neto went 1-for-4 and drove in the Angels’ lone run on Sunday afternoon in a losing effort against the Mariners.

Advice: Neto prevented the Angels from being shut out in this one with an RBI single that plated Kevin Pillar in the ninth inning. That would be his only hit on the day. On the season, the 23-year-old shortstop is now hitting .250/.300/.403 to go along with six long balls, 19 RBI and eight stolen bases. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:40 pm

    • Pops leadoff homer Sunday
Betts went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Rockies.

Advice: The Dodgers had all the offense they needed for the win after their first at-bat, as Betts drilled Austin Gomber's first pitch over the wall in left field. Prior to Sunday, Betts had gone 0-for-13 over the last three games, which was his longest slump of the season. That's a testament to his consistency and his elite skills as the tone-setter atop the Dodgers' lineup. Betts is slashing .318/.412/.515 with nine homers, 32 RBI, 43 runs scored, nine stolen bases, 14 doubles and three triples over 60 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:30 pm

    • Nico Hoerner has two hits in loss to Reds
Nico Hoerner went 2-for-5 with a run scored in a loss to the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Hoerner has been slowly increasing his batting average in recent weeks and is up to .262/.351/.366 on the season; however, he didn’t attempt a stolen base today and has just six on the season. After stealing 43 bases last year, it’s discouraging to see Hoerner not running as often. It could partially be a hamstring issue he’s been dealing with or a new philosophy under manager Craig Counsell, but since Hoerner doesn’t have much power, his fantasy value will take a big hit if he’s only a 25-stolen-base hitter who will hit .270-.280. If you need the steals, you should still keep Hoerner in your lineup, but if you’re OK on speed and somebody makes a compelling offer, he could be a player you’re OK parting with. • Oneil Cruz with two hits, scores twice
Oneil Cruz went 2-for-5 with a double and two runs scored against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Advice: Each of Cruz’s hits were blistered - the first a single at 117.2 MPH off the bat and then later a 111.8 MPH double. While falling into a platoon and striking out too often, getting a glimpse of his gaudy tools reminds us a hot streak may always be right around the corner for Cruz. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:11 pm
    • Paul DeJong homers in loss to Brewers
Paul DeJong went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in a loss to the Brewers.

Advice: DeJong now has nine home runs on the season, which includes six of the last 23 games. His batting average remains low, and he can thank his 35 percent strikeout rate for that, but he’s also barreling the ball well and providing a decent amount of power which makes him a solid middle infield option in deeper fantasy leagues. • Going through concussion protocol
Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said Mateo is going through the concussion protocol after exiting Sunday's game versus the Rays, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Mateo was struck in the head by the bat of teammate Cedric Mullins around the on-deck circle and was subsequently removed from the contest. It remains to be seen if Mateo will miss additional time, and he should be considered day-to-day as he continues to be evaluated. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:49 pm

    • José Caballero goes 2-for-3, homers in Rays’ win
José Caballero went 2-for-3 with a homer Sunday as the Rays edged the Orioles 4-3.

Advice: Caballero has been a strikeout machine of late, but he managed to go without one for just the second time in 18 games today. He’s batting .260/.318/.370 on the season, but it just doesn’t seem likely that he’ll keep his average up like this with how often he fails to make contact. He currently has a .367 BABIP in spite of some of the weakest exit velocity numbers in the game. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:47 pm
    • Gunnar Henderson homers, reaches five times
Gunnar Henderson went 3-for-3 with a homer and two walks Sunday versus the Rays.

Advice: The homer, his 19th of the season, led off the bottom of the first. Henderson’s batting average has slipped in recent weeks — he came in at .221 in May after hitting .291 in April — but he’s still crushing it in terms of homers and walks. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:47 pm
