    • Mashes grand slam in win
Muncy went 2-for-4 with a grand slam and two runs scored in Tuesday's 8-2 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Muncy quickly put the Dodgers ahead with a first-inning grand slam off of Edward Cabrera. It was his sixth career grand slam and fourth home run in his last three games, as he now has eight RBI over that span. Muncy is currently hitting .263, which is well above his career average, and overall is slashing .263/.370/.570 with nine homers, 26 RBI, 22 runs and a 19:40 BB:K in 138 plate appearances. • Goes yard in Tuesday's loss
Donovan went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-5 loss to the Mets.

Advice: A day after being taken out of the leadoff spot, Donovan led off Tuesday's game with a solo home run off Jose Butto for his fourth homer of the year and second career leadoff blast. He now has at least a hit in four straight games with three of those hits going for extra bases. The 27-year-old owns a .223 batting average though that comes with an unlucky .233 BABIP. For the year, Donovan is slashing .223/.297/.381 with 13 extra-base hits, 19 RBI, 15 runs and an 11:22 BB:K in 158 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 4:12 am

    • Perfect again
Megill picked up the save during Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Royals, striking out one batter over a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Megill had a save opportunity open up after Willy Adames gave the Brewers a one-run lead in the top of the ninth on a three-run home run and converted for his third save of the season. In each of his three save chances this season, Megill has turned in a perfect inning, and he's allowed just one run and two hits in 6.2 innings since being activated from the injured list on April 19. • Max Muncy delivers grand slam in Dodgers’ win
Max Muncy went 2-for-4 and hit a grand slam Tuesday against the Marlins.

Advice: It was his sixth career slam and fourth homer in three games. A career .228 hitter, Munch is at .263 right now, even though his strikeout rate is higher than usual and his exit velocity numbers are pretty typical. He’ll surely continue to put up excellent power numbers, but one should probably expect an average around .220 the rest of the way. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:56 pm

    • Homer, five RBI in victory
Carroll went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer and five total RBI in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Reds.

Advice: Carroll looked back at home in the leadoff spot Tuesday -- a season-opening slump had lowered him to the bottom third of the order the last two weeks. After driving in two runs early in the game, the 23-year-old outfielder broke the game open with a three-run homer off the left-handed Justin Wilson in the seventh inning, his second long ball of the year and first since April 9, extending Arizona's lead to 5-0. After a brutal start to the season, it looks like Carroll may be starting to turn things around at the plate -- he now has at least one hit in six of his last seven contests, going 8-for-27 in that span. He's still slashing an uninspiring .211/.300/.278 through 34 games with 15 runs scored, 12 RBI and eight stolen bases. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:51 pm
    • Trevor Megill picked up third save for Brewers
Trevor Megill picked up his third save with a perfect ninth against the Royals on Tuesday.

Advice: Megill got the call over Joel Payamps after the Brewers scored three times in the top of the ninth to take a one-run lead. It was a little surprising that neither had pitched previously in an effort to keep the game close; neither had worked since Payamps got the eighth and Megill earned a save on Friday. Megill is pretty obviously the favorite for saves at this point, and since he threw just eight pitches tonight, he’ll be available again Wednesday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:49 pm
    • Kutter Crawford strikes out six in loss to Braves
Kutter Crawford allowed two earned runs over six innings while striking out six in the Red Sox’ loss to the Braves on Tuesday.

Advice: Crawford gave up a two-run bomb to Jarred Kelenic in the third inning and scattered four more hits across six frames. The righty lowered his ERA to 1.75 on the year, and has now struck out six or more batters in six of his eight starts on the year. He’s off to a surprisingly strong start for the Red Sox this season, and will look to keep things going on Monday against the Rays. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:11 pm
    • Cristopher Sánchez shuts down Blue Jays in win
Cristopher Sánchez allowed one run on six hits over seven innings in a win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Advice: Sánchez took advantage of a reeling Blue Jays lineup, allowing just two extra-base hits while striking out five and walking two. The changeup did most of the heavy lifting for Cristopher Sánchez, posting a 55 percent whiff rate and 39 percent CSW. The left-hander had a 23 percent whiff rate and 33 percent CSW on the day, as the sinker didn’t miss many bats, but the slider pounded the zone for strikes. The effort lowers his ERA to 3.22 and he gets another solid matchup against the Mets next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:41 pm
    • Corbin Carroll homers, drives in five 5 in win
Corbin Carroll went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and five RBI in a win over the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: This was a much-needed big game for Carroll, who is still slashing just .211/.300/.278 on the season with two home runs and 12 RBI. The home run was well-struck at 104.3 mph off the bat and traveling 390 feet. While that’s great, it was the only ball on the day that Carroll hit over 87 mph. It doesn’t make sense to trade Carroll away while his value is so low, but we’ll need to see more consistent quality contact before we can be sure he’s fully healthy or ready for a hot stretch. However, it is nice to see him back to hitting leadoff, which would be important for his fantasy value. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:29 pm
