    Langford went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Royals.

    Advice: The story of the game was the return of Max Scherzer to the mound, but Langford also contributed to the Rangers' fourth straight win. His fourth-inning double plated Texas' first run and he came home on Leody Taveras' two-run single.   • Dominates Giants
    Gray (9-4) picked up the win Sunday against San Francisco, allowing one run on one hit with no walks across seven innings. He struck out eight.

    Advice: Gray took a perfect game into the seventh inning before Patrick Bailey launched a solo home run with two outs. Although the Cardinals' bullpen gave up two more runs, Gray was able to claim his ninth win of 2024, his most wins in a season since 2019. The 34-year-old has completed at least seven innings in three consecutive starts and owns a 2.95 ERA along with an 11.1 K/9 across 83.1 innings.   • Pitches two frames versus Cleveland
    Kikuchi (4-7) picked up a loss after he pitched two innings, giving up four runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out three batters in Sunday's 6-5 defeat to Cleveland.

    Advice: Kikuchi was once again ineffective on the mound Sunday, giving up one run in the first inning before the game went into a rain delay after he allowed another run to score and loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the third. Zach Pop replaced Kikuchi on the mound following the delay, allowing two of the inherited runners to score. Kikuchi has been in quite the rut for a while now, allowing 20 earned runs over 25.1 innings in his last six outings. The rough stretch has seen his ERA balloon from 2.64 to 4.00 on the year over 83.1 innings in 16 starts.     Naylor went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays.

    Advice: Naylor secured a single in the first inning before notching a double and coming around to score in the third. He later added his 20th home run of the season in the bottom of the fourth frame, taking reliever Brendon Little deep for a solo shot, expanding Cleveland's lead to 6-3.   • Luis Arraez has two hits, RBI in loss on Sunday
    Luis Arraez went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles and an RBI on Sunday afternoon as the Padres fell to the Brewers.

    Advice: The sweet-swinging 27-year-old got the Padres on the board with a two-out RBI single off of Tobias Myers in the fifth inning. With his two-hit attack, Arraez is now hitting .315/.350/.385 with just two homers, 22 RBI and three stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:55 pm

  • Sonny Gray electric in win over Giants
    Sonny Gray allowed one run on one hit in seven innings in a win over the Giants on Sunday.

    Advice: Gray also struck out eight and walked none while posting a 30 percent whiff rate and 39 percent CSW. He only made one real mistake on the day, allowing a solo home run to Patrick Bailey in the seventh inning. The Giants averaged just 81.6 mph on all balls put in play during the game, and Gray now has a 2.81 ERA heading into a start against the Reds at home next week. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:09 pm

  • Josh Naylor with three more hits, home run
    Josh Naylor went 3-for-5 with a home run, double, and two runs scored on Sunday in a 6-5 win over the Blue Jays.

    Advice: Naylor is scalding hot right now. He has multiple hits in six of his last 13 games with four home runs and 13 RBI over that same span. His .835 OPS is higher than that of Fernando Tatis Jr., Pete Alonso, and Corey Seager. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:36 pm
     
  • Yusei Kikuchi struggles before rain delay
    Yusei Kikuchi allowed four runs in two-plus innings on Sunday against the Guardians. He walked one, struck out three, and allowed eight hits in a loss.

    Advice: The rain came at a great time for Kikuchi who’d loaded the bases with no outs in the third inning. He’s given up at least four earned runs in three of his last six starts and seen his ERA balloon from 2.64 on May 21st to 4.00 after this game.     Arenado (forearm) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Giants.

    Advice: Arenado exited early in Saturday's 9-4 win due to discomfort in his left forearm. According to Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat, Arenado received an injection to alleviate the pain, and the Cardinals still waiting to see how the veteran third baseman responds to the shot before determining his availability for their upcoming three-game set with Atlanta that begins Monday.
