• Expected back soon
Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said Monday that he's optimistic Arenado (forearm) will be ready to return to the lineup in the coming days, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Advice: Arenado will miss a second straight start Monday against Atlanta with a left forearm issue, which is evidently something that's bothered the third baseman off and on throughout the season. However, he's feeling better following an injection and was working out on the field pregame Monday. Brandon Crawford will get a second straight start at the hot corner in Arenado's place. • Nolan Arenado (forearm) eyes midweek return
Nolan Arenado took grounders on the field prior to Monday’s game and could rejoin the Cardinals’ lineup in the next few days.

Advice: Arenado is out of the lineup for a second straight game due to left forearm nerve irritation, but it looks like the injection he had over the weekend is helping. Brandon Crawford is again playing third base tonight. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:54 pm

  • Remains out Monday
Arenado (forearm) is out of the lineup for Monday's game against Atlanta.

Advice: Arenado will miss a second straight start after he exited Saturday's 9-4 win over the Giants with left forearm discomfort. He received an injection to help combat the pain and is considered day-to-day. Brandon Crawford will make another start at third base Monday in Arenado's stead. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:51 pm

  • Nolan Arenado not in the lineup on Monday
Nolan Arenado (forearm) is not in the Cardinals’ lineup on Monday against the Braves.

Advice: Arenado received an injection over the weekend while he deals with a nerve issue in his left forearm. He was hit by a pitch in Saturday’s game, but that was in his right elbow so it’s unclear what prompted the issue in his left forearm. The Cardinals are continuing to evaluate him to decide if he should go on the IL or not. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:51 pm

  • Logs RBI in fifth straight
Langford went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Royals.

Advice: The story of the game was the return of Max Scherzer to the mound, but Langford also contributed to the Rangers' fourth straight win. His fourth-inning double plated Texas' first run and he came home on Leody Taveras' two-run single. Langford has at least one hit and one RBI in five consecutive games, knocking in 10 runs in all while going 8-for-19 with five extra-base hits. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:17 am

  • Three hits, including homer in win
Naylor went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Naylor secured a single in the first inning before notching a double and coming around to score in the third. He later added his 20th home run of the season in the bottom of the fourth frame, taking reliever Brendon Little deep for a solo shot, expanding Cleveland's lead to 6-3. Naylor has now tallied at least one hit in nine of the team's last 11 contests, batting .372 with four home runs, 11 RBI and eight runs scored over that stretch. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:54 pm

  • Luis Arraez has two hits, RBI in loss on Sunday

Advice: Naylor is scalding hot right now. He has multiple hits in six of his last 13 games with four home runs and 13 RBI over that same span. His .835 OPS is higher than that of Fernando Tatis Jr., Pete Alonso, and Corey Seager. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:36 pm

  • Not starting Sunday
Arenado (forearm) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Giants.

Advice: Arenado exited early in Saturday's 9-4 win due to discomfort in his left forearm. According to Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat, Arenado received an injection to alleviate the pain, and the Cardinals still waiting to see how the veteran third baseman responds to the shot before determining his availability for their upcoming three-game set with Atlanta that begins Monday.
