      Castro went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run, a double and two total runs scored in Friday's 6-5 loss to the Athletics.

      Advice: Castro logged his fourth multi-hit effort in his last five games, with the lone exception being Thursday when he started the game on the bench. Batting .290 (20-for-69) in June, Castro has been impressive for the Twins, and it hasn't been just an empty average. He has nine extra-base hits, eight RBI and 13 runs scored over 19 contests this month.       Jurickson Profar was lifted for a pinch-runner in the seventh inning Friday against the Brewers.

      Profar (knee) was removed for a pinch runner in the seventh inning of Friday's game against the Brewers, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Profar dealt with a knee injury earlier in June, and he didn't appear to be running at full strength to begin Friday's game.       Merrill went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 7-6 win over Milwaukee on Thursday.

      Advice: Merrill hit the second of back-to-back homers with Manny Machado in the first inning to give San Diego an early lead. The long ball was the second in as many days for Merrill, who has surged in the power department of late, with six of his nine homers on the campaign coming over his past eight games. All six of those long balls have been of the solo variety, but it's still a positive development for Merrill's fantasy managers after he went deep just three times over his first 68 games.       Advice: Santander has gone 8-for-25 (.320) with five homers and 11 RBI over his last six games. The outfielder is up to 19 homers on the year, with 10 of them coming in June. He's slashing .230/.304/.502 on the year while adding 48 RBI, 42 runs scored and 13 doubles over 70 contests. Merrill has eight homers on the year, but five of them have come in the last seven games, boosting his slash line on the season to .279/.317/.417 with nine steals, 30 RBI and 32 runs in 74 contests. The 21-year-old rookie sensation has caught fire over the past few days, going deep a whopping five times over his last seven contests since June 12.
