• Posts three hits in win
Herrera went 3-for-5 with one RBI and one run scored in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Reds.

Advice: Herrera went 1-for-11 over his previous three games before breaking out of the slump Tuesday. All three of his hits were singles in this contest. The catcher is up to a .276/.344/.362 slash line with three home runs, 16 RBI, 15 runs scored and one stolen base across 131 plate appearances. Rotowire.com 5 minutes ago

  • Blasts homer Tuesday
Gorman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Reds.

Advice: Gorman has four homers, two steals, eight RBI and eight runs scored over his last nine games, batting .321 (9-for-28) in that span. It's a good run of consistency at the plate for the infielder, who has struggled to put it all together at times this season. He's at a .214/.306/.428 slash line with nine long balls, 23 RBI, 21 runs scored and two steals through 47 contests overall while holding down a starting role at second base. • Ends power drought
Arenado went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Reds.

Advice: Arenado went 11 games without a homer prior to Tuesday. In that span, he hit a paltry .222 (10-for-45). The third baseman took Andrew Abbott deep in the fourth inning to give the Cardinals all the offense they needed in the win. Arenado is still having a rough year overall with four homers, 25 RBI, 21 runs scored, 10 doubles and a .257/.311/.366 slash line over 52 contests. While the Cardinals' offense has struggled at times, Arenado has not been able to lead by example as much as he has in previous years. Rotowire.com 10 minutes ago

  • Goes deep in loss
Bryant went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 13-7 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Bryant has gone 6-for-28 (.214) over eight games since he returned from a back injury. His homer Tuesday was his first extra-base hit in that span. The 32-year-old is slashing a meager .173/.303/.280 with two homers, nine RBI, four runs scored and two doubles over 21 contests this season. For now, it looks like Bryant and Elehuris Montero will share first base and designated hitter. Rotowire.com 44 minutes ago

  • Hit hard in loss
Feltner allowed seven runs (six earned) on eight hits and two walks while striking out one over 4.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Feltner finally had some struggles at Coors Field in his fourth home start of the campaign. Jose Ramirez tagged him for a two-run home run in the first inning and Josh Naylor added another two-run blast in the fifth. Feltner posted six scoreless innings against the Athletics in his previous start, but he took a step back Tuesday and continues to post poor numbers overall. He's at a 5.61 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 49:18 K:BB through 59.1 innings across 11 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start at home versus the Reds. Rotowire.com Today, 10:08 pm

  • Ryan Feltner gives up seven runs to Guardians
Ryan Feltner was tagged for seven runs — six earned — in 4 1/3 innings by the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Feltner is a solid starting pitcher who might be interesting on another team, but there’s just nothing here for fantasy purposes for as long as he plays for the Rockies. He’s 1-4 with a 5.61 ERA through 11 starts. Rotoworld Today, 9:49 pm

  • Swipes bag in loss
McCarthy went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers.

Advice: McCarthy was one of two Diamondbacks with a multi-hit effort Tuesday. He's logged a steal in each of his last two games, giving him five thefts on six attempts this season. The outfielder is 13-for-46 (.282) over 20 games in May, putting him right in line with his .284/.358/.404 slash line for the season. Rotowire.com Today, 9:18 pm

  • Goes seven innings in loss
Pfaadt (2-4) allowed four runs on six hits and a walk while striking out five over seven innings to take the loss versus the Rangers on Tuesday.

Advice: Pfaadt covered at least six innings for the sixth start in a row, but this was the third time this year he's allowed at least four earned runs. Josh Smith had an RBI single in the third inning and Corey Seager continued his power surge with a three-run home run in the fifth. Pfaadt is now at a 4.16 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 63:12 K:BB through 67 innings across 11 starts. He's projected to make his next start on the road versus the Mets. Rotowire.com Today, 9:15 pm
  • Matt Waldron knuckles his way to third win
Matt Waldron struck out eight over seven innings Tuesday in the Padres’ 4-0 shutout of the Marlins.

Advice: He moved to 3-5 with a 4.26 ERA. Waldron threw his knuckleball 27% of the time last season and was at 36% percent this season coming into the night. Against the Marlins, though, he used it a career-high 55% of the time and induced 11 of his 15 missed swings on the night. We’re still not overly impressed by the pitch, but the league is awfully unfamiliar at dealing with knuckleballs these days. He’s probably better off continuing to focus on it, especially since the rest of his arsenal is pretty unremarkable. Rotoworld Today, 9:13 pm
