    • Bryson Stott gets a day off on Monday
Bryson Stott is not in the lineup for the Phillies game against the Giants on Monday.

Advice: It’s a routine day off for Stott, which was a decision made easier by the Giants starting left-hander Blake Snell. Edmundo Sosa will move up to sixth in the lineup while Whit Merrifield will play second base and hit seventh. Cristian Pache will also start in left field with Brandon Marsh sitting against the lefty. Rotoworld Monday, 11:19 am

    • Sitting against left-hander
Stott is not in the lineup for Monday's game in San Francisco.

Advice: The Giants are starting reigning National League Cy Young winner and southpaw Blake Snell on Monday, so the left-handed hitting Stott will receive a day off. Whit Merrifield will handle second base for the Phillies. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:17 am

    • Jose Altuve has two hits, SB in win over A’s
Jose Altuve went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a stolen base in a win over the A’s on Sunday.

Advice: Not many people are talking about Altuve, but he’s having yet another solid year with a .296/.353/.468 triple slash to go along with nine home runs, 20 RBI, and eight steals. He’ll always provide solid run totals while hitting at the top of the Astros’ lineup and is one of the most reliable players in fantasy baseball. Rotoworld May 26, 4:02 pm

    • Three hits in win
Altuve went 3-for-5 with one run scored in Friday's 6-3 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Altuve went 0-for-9 over his previous two games, which marked the first time he'd been held hitless in consecutive contests all year. Friday's effort was his seventh three-hit effort of the campaign. The second baseman's consistency atop the Astros' order is impressive, though he hadn't produced a multi-hit effort since May 5. The 34-year-old is slashing .298/.354/.476 with nine home runs, 18 RBI, 33 runs scored and seven stolen bases across 50 games this season. Rotowire.com May 24, 10:09 pm

    • Pops fourth homer
Rengifo went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Friday's loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Rengifo opened the scoring by popping a 413-foot solo shot in the bottom of the first. The switch-hitting Angel has been hot since returning from an illness May 17, hitting .300 (9-for-30) with two homers, three steals, four runs scored and five RBI. Overall, Rengifo is slashing .322/.374/.504 in 132 plate appearances while playing every day at second or third base. Rotowire.com May 24, 9:56 pm

    • Luis Rengifo doubles and homers in loss to CLE
Luis Rengifo doubled and homered in a loss Friday to the Angels.

Advice: Rengifo also singled. The 27-year-old took Logan Allen deep in the first inning, and the three-reach game now has his slash looking healthy at .322/.374/.504. Rengifo has been up-and-down for the majority of his MLB career. Right now he’s on the right side of that. There’s reason to believe it won’t last for much longer, respectfully.
