    • Pops fourth homer
Rengifo went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Friday's loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Rengifo opened the scoring by popping a 413-foot solo shot in the bottom of the first. The switch-hitting Angel has been hot since returning from an illness May 17, hitting .300 (9-for-30) with two homers, three steals, four runs scored and five RBI. Overall, Rengifo is slashing .322/.374/.504 in 132 plate appearances while playing every day at second or third base. Rotowire.com May 24, 9:56 pm

    • Luis Rengifo doubles and homers in loss to CLE
Luis Rengifo doubled and homered in a loss Friday to the Angels.

Advice: Rengifo also singled. The 27-year-old took Logan Allen deep in the first inning, and the three-reach game now has his slash looking healthy at .322/.374/.504. Rengifo has been up-and-down for the majority of his MLB career. Right now he’s on the right side of that. There’s reason to believe it won’t last for much longer, respectfully. • Reaches double-digit steals
Volpe went 2-for-5 with a double, a run and a stolen base against the Mariners in Thursday's 5-0 victory.

Advice: Volpe led off the seventh inning with a double, stole third base and subsequently scored on a Juan Soto single. It was the 10th theft in 12 tries for Volpe, who has now reached double-digit steals in each of his first two MLB campaigns. The shortstop is on pace to exceed last year's numbers in most categories except power -- he has six homers through 51 contests after going deep 21 times in 159 games last season -- and his .278/.349/.429 slash line highlights his substantial growth at the plate.
