      Advice: Harper led off the fourth inning with a double before coming around to score on an Alec Bohm single, giving the Phillies a 2-1 lead. Harper would then extend the lead to 3-1 in the fourth with a 422-foot solo blast off Jacob Latz, his 11th long ball of the year. After a sluggish start to the year, the 31-year-old Harper has been on fire in May, batting .359 with five home runs, 18 RBI and a 1.111 OPS in 17 games.       Oneil Cruz went 3-for-5 with one RBI in a win over the Giants on Tuesday.

      Advice: All three of Cruz’s hits were blasted with a 121.5 mph double, a 120.4 mph single, and a 116.3 mph double. He’s now the first player in the Statcast era to have three hits in one game over 115 mph, and his 121.5 mph double is the hardest-hit ball in MLB action this year, topping the 120.4 mph single he hit earlier in the game today. That’s quite a performance. Cruz is 19-for-64 (.297) in May with four home runs, 10 runs scored, and 11 RBI.       Advice: Raley is now hitting .306 on the season and has four home runs and 12 RBI to his name in 38 games. The lefty is riding a hot hand at the moment and is currently sitting on an eight-game hitting streak. Raley has absolutely raked this month, going 21-for-53 (.396) with seven extra-base hits.       Mize (1-3) allowed six runs on nine hits across 1.2 innings to take the loss Tuesday against the Royals. He had no walks and struck out two.

      Advice: Not walking anyone was nice, though that's about where the positives ended for Mize, who allowed a new season high in earned runs while also recording his shortest outing of the year. His previous high was five runs allowed back on May 4, but he had allowed just three total runs across 12 innings in two starts since then. Overall, the righty now has a 4.57 ERA over 45.1 innings this season, which is only slightly above his career 4.35 mark.       Advice: Torres’ three-run homer in the seventh gave the Yankees their first runs of the evening after they spent the first six innings being stifled by Bryan Woo. Torres’ homer, his third on the season, ended shutout but didn’t prove to be enough for the Yankees, who were held scoreless the rest of the way.
