• Back down to Triple-A
The Mets optioned Young to Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday.

Advice: Young was called up by the Mets on April 28. He appeared in two games, including May 2 against the Cubs when he earned his first major-league win after allowing one unearned run on two hits and a walk while striking out one batter over one frame. Young and right-hander Dedniel Nunez will head down to Triple-A Syracuse, while right-handers Christian Scott and Cole Sulser move up to the big club in corresponding moves. • Recalled by Mets
The Mets recalled Sulser from Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday.

Advice: Sulser struggled in his last major-league outing April 13 against the Royals, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks while striking out two over 1.2 frames. He's appeared in six games in Triple-A, posting a 4.50 ERA and 0.88 WHIP over eight innings with Syracuse. Sulser joins right-hander Christian Scott in a call up to the Mets, while left-hander Danny Young and right-hander Dedniel Nunez were optioned to Triple-A Syracuse in corresponding moves. • Giants recall Sabol from Triple-A Sacramento
Giants recalled C/OF Blake Sabol from Triple-A Sacramento.

Advice: Sabol takes the place of Patrick Bailey with Bailey placed on the concussion injured list. Sabol offers some defensive versatility, but doesn’t have the offensive upside to be a fantasy option. Rotoworld 12 minutes ago

  • Giants place Patrick Bailey on 7-day concussion IL
Giants placed C Patrick Bailey on the 7-day concussion injured list.

Advice: Bailey left Friday’s game with blurred vision. The backstop will now be out of commission until he can clear the concussion protocols. The 24-year-old is replaced on the active roster by Blake Sabol. Rotoworld 13 minutes ago
  • Turner expects to miss six-plus weeks with injury
Trea Turner told reporters that he expects to miss at least six weeks with his hamstring injury.

Advice: Turner told reporters that anything prior to a six-week return would “be a win.” It’s a significant blow for both fantasy managers and the Phillies — and Turner himself, of course — as the shortstop was once again playing at an elite level. Edmundo Sosa should see most of the reps at shortstop while Turner is out, but he’s a far cry from the player that Turner is. Rotoworld 14 minutes ago

  • Back to majors
The Marlins recalled Bride from Triple-A Jacksonville on Saturday.

Advice: Bride played in five games for the Marlins at the beginning of the season, going 1-for-7 with a walk over that span. He was optioned to Triple-A Jacksonville on April 4, and he has been tearing it up in the minors with a .349 batting average and 1.180 OPS over 110 plate appearances. To make room for Bride, Miami optioned right-hander Woo-suk Go to Triple-A Jacksonville. Rotowire.com 29 minutes ago
  • Out at least six weeks
Turner (hamstring) said Saturday that he expects to miss at least six weeks with his left hamstring strain and that a return sooner than that "would be a win," Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Turner strained his left hamstring Friday against the Cubs, and he was placed on the 10-day IL a day later. It's a big blow for the Phillies, as Turner has been one of their most productive players at the plate this season with an .852 OPS, second on the team behind Alec Bohm. Six weeks would take Turner to a potential return for mid-June, though the star shortstop could be out until July depending on how he progresses in his rehab. Philadelphia will turn to Edmundo Sosa to be the primary shortstop with Turner on the shelf, and Bryson Stott could shift over from second base in platoon lineups against right-handed pitching. • Nabs win in relief Friday
Grove (1-1) earned the victory against Atlanta on Friday, retiring all three batters he faced in the 11th inning.

Advice: Grove faced a daunting task in the top of the 11th frame, as he came on with the automatic runner at second base and Ronald Acuna, Ozzie Albies and Austin Riley due up for Atlanta. The right-hander handled the situation with aplomb, retiring all three batters without allowing the ball to leave the infield. Grove then picked up the win when the Dodgers scored in the bottom of the inning. The right-hander has turned things around after his early-season struggles, posting a 2.38 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 17:4 K:BB over his past 11.1 frames and holding the opponent scoreless in seven of his past eight outings. • Notches two steals Friday
Ohtani went 1-for-3 with a run, an RBI, two walks and two stolen bases Friday in a 4-3 extra-innings victory versus Atlanta.

Advice: Ohtani's first theft came in the third inning, and it led to Los Angeles' first run, as Will Smith followed with a two-out RBI single. It looked like Ohtani would be picked off in the eighth frame, but Matt Olson mishandled the throw to first base, allowing the Japanese superstar to make to second base safely. Ohtani later came up with a huge hit in the bottom of the 10th, stroking a one-out single to center field to plate the tying run after Atlanta had scored in the top of the frame. Ohtani continues to put up big numbers for the Dodgers and for his fantasy managers, as he's slashing .336/.405/.612 with seven homers, 20 RBI, 26 runs and seven steals (in seven attempts) through 153 plate appearances.
