    • Ketel Marte extends hitting streak to 17 in loss
Ketel Marte smacked a run-scoring triple off of Jack Flaherty on Saturday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Diamondbacks to victory over the Tigers.

Advice: The 30-year-old second baseman extended his hitting streak to 17 games and broke a scoreless tie with his run-scoring triple off of the Tigers’ right-hander in the sixth inning. He then scored on an RBI single off the bat of Joc Pederson. Marte finished the night 1-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts and is now hitting .287/.333/.525 with nine homers, 25 RBI and one stolen base on the season. Rotoworld 46 minutes ago

    • Escapes with no-decision Saturday
Eflin came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Blue Jays, giving up four runs on nine hits over six innings. He struck out three without walking a batter.

Advice: After keeping Toronto hitters in check the first time through the order, things went off the rails for Eflin in the fourth and fifth innings, putting the Rays in a 4-0 hole that they eventually climbed out of. The right-hander did manage to keep the ball in the yard, snapping a streak of four straight starts in which he'd served up a homer. Eflin will take a 4.12 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and stellar 44:4 K:BB through 59 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next weekend against the Royals. • Big homer off Diaz in comeback win
Bell went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 10-9 victory over the Mets.

Advice: Bell had two singles -- including one that drove in a run -- when he strolled to the plate in the bottom of the ninth inning to face Edwin Diaz as the tying run. He then swatted one 428 feet for a three-run home run to knot things up before the Marlins eventually won in the 10th. Bell's home run -- which was his sixth of the season -- was measured at 107.9 mph off the bat. The first baseman is 10-for-25 with two long balls over his last six tilts. Rotowire.com Today, 5:56 pm

    • Bell drives in four on Saturday
Josh Bell went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI against the Mets on Saturday.

Advice: Bell blasted a game-tying three run home run in the ninth inning off the Mets’ Edwin Diaz. It was his sixth home run of the season. It was a good game, but Bell isn’t having a good season. Even with the home run, his .137 ISO is the lowest of his career. His average is .229, but that should pick up a bit as his BABIP is .258 this year compared to his career .286 BABIP. Rotoworld Today, 4:37 pm

    • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. collects three hits Saturday
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI against the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: Guerrero Jr. doubled to lead off the fourth inning against Zach Eflin and came around to score on a single by George Springer. He added a run to the board for Toronto with an RBI-single in the fifth and led off the bottom of the eighth with his third hit of the day. The 25-year-old first baseman is hitting .280/.373/.393 with four homers and 20 RBI across 193 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 2:59 pm
    • Zach Eflin surrenders four runs against Blue Jays
Zach Eflin allowed four runs with three strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Eflin had worked through three scoreless innings before the Blue Jays brought a run across to score on three hits in the fourth. Four consecutive hits to start the fifth inning would bring three more runs in for Toronto. Eflin would return for one more inning, ending his day after six with three strikeouts. The 30-year-old right-hander will take a 4.12 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and a 44/4 K/BB ratio across 59 innings into a start against the Royals in Tampa Bay on Friday. Rotoworld Today, 2:57 pm

    • Kodai Senga (shoulder) throwing again on Sunday
Kodai Senga (shoulder) is scheduled to throw another bullpen session on Sunday.

Advice: Senga remains in a bit of a holding pattern with his recovery from a right shoulder issue as he continues to work on his mechanics. There isn’t a definitive timetable for his return at the moment, but it seems plausible that he could be back before the end of next month, barring any setbacks. Rotoworld Today, 11:36 am

    • Steven Kwan (hamstring) takes BP on Friday
Steven Kwan (hamstring) took batting practice on Friday.

Advice: Kwan has resumed baseball activities and is progressing well, according to Guardians manager Stephen Vogt. The 26-year-old contact-oriented outfielder remains without a firm return timetable, but it sounds like he could return to Cleveland’s lineup before the end of the month following a minor league rehab assignment. • Participates in batting practice
Kwan (hamstring) participated in batting practice Friday for the first time since he went on the injured list, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.

Advice: "He's progressing well," manager Stephen Vogt said before Friday's series opener against Minnesota. "Still don't have a timetable, but the fact that he's already back to baseball activity is a good sign. He's feeling well and been running relatively pain-free, so he's on a good track." Kwan was initially given a four-week timeline when he went on the injured list, so it's encouraging that he's resumed baseball activities halfway through that expected absence. The Guardians are likely to take things cautiously with Kwan given his history of hamstring issues, so it's unclear when he might be able to go out on a rehab assignment. Rotowire.com Today, 10:09 am
