    • San Diego-Atlanta game postponed
Darvish and the Padres will not play Saturday after their game in Atlanta was postponed due to inclement weather.

Advice: The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Monday. Darvish will be pushed back a day to start Sunday, which would also mean delaying Joe Musgrove's (elbow) return from the injured list to Monday. Rotowire.com Today, 6:03 pm

    • Fans career-high 14 in win
Gil (5-1) picked up the win Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and a walk over six innings in a 6-1 victory over the White Sox. He struck out 14.

Advice: The 25-year-old right-hander set a new career high in Ks -- in fact, Gil has never struck out more than nine batters in a big-league start before. He generated an incredible 22 swinging strikes among his 98 pitches, and 40 combined called/swinging strikes, as he produced his fourth straight quality start and won his fifth straight decision. Gil is having a breakout campaign, and he'll take a 2.39 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 62:27 K:BB through 49 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come at home next week against the Mariners. • Joe Musgrove (triceps) will return from IL Sunday
Padres’ manager Mike Shildt confirmed that Joe Musgrove (triceps) will return from the injured list to start Sunday’s series finale against the Braves.

Advice: Musgrove has been sidelined since May 5 due to triceps tendinitis. He has made remarkable progress this week though — so much so that the Padres felt he didn’t even need a minor league rehab start. Fantasy managers may want to take a wait-and-see approach before throwing him back out there in lineups though. Prior to landing on the injured list, Musgrove had posted a 6.37 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and a 36/13 K/BB ratio across 41 innings in his first eight starts. Rotoworld Today, 5:05 pm

    • Christopher Morel walks off the Cubs on Saturday
Christopher Morel went 1-for-3, driving in the winning run in the Cubs 1-0 win over the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: The Cubs and Pirates were scoreless going into the bottom of the ninth in what turned out to be a pitchers duel. Cody Bellinger reached scoring position with a one-out double off David Bednar. Morel followed with a base hit to walk it off, bringing Bellinger home for the winning run. The 24-year-old slugger is hitting .217/.300/.416 with nine homers, 32 RBI, and four steals across 190 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 1:38 pm

    • Luis Gil fans 14 in dominant win vs. White Sox
Luis Gil allowed one run with 14 strikeouts over six innings in a win over the White Sox on Saturday.

Advice: Gil turned in a dominant performance after a shaky first inning. Two base hits, a double, and a walk brought a run in to score and loaded the bases before Gil struck out the final batter to end the opening frame. He allowed just two more hits across five more scoreless innings, striking out a career-high 14 batters on 22 whiffs. The 25-year-old right-hander ends the day with an impressive 2.39 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, and a 62/27 K/BB ratio across 49 innings. Gil is in line for a start against the Mariners in New York on Thursday. • Sitting versus lefty
Cruz isn't in the Pirates' lineup for Saturday's game versus the Cubs.

Advice: Left-hander Shota Imanaga will start on the mound Saturday for Chicago, meaning the lefty-hitting Cruz will step out of the lineup. Alika Williams will fill the opening at shortstop while batting ninth. Rotowire.com Today, 10:11 am

    • Still in line to return Sunday
Padres manager Mike Shildt said Friday that Musgrove (elbow) is "in a great spot" to return to the team's rotation Sunday in Atlanta, Sammy Levitt of 97.3 The Fan reports.

Advice: Musgrove has thrown two bullpen sessions since going on the injured list with right elbow inflammation May 5 and doesn't appear to need a rehab assignment. The right-hander played catch Friday, and if he recovers well from that, there's a good chance he'll take the mound for Sunday's matchup in Atlanta. Musgrove has struggled with a 6.37 ERA and 1.51 WHIP through 41 innings this season, though he pitched well in his most recent start prior to landing on the IL, allowing two runs and striking out nine batters over six frames against Cincinnati on May 1. • Oneil Cruz getting day off Saturday vs. Cubs
Oneil Cruz is not in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Cubs.

Advice: It’s a routine off day for Cruz with lefty Shota Imanaga toeing the rubber for Chicago. The 25-year-old shortstop has hit a small rough patch of late, hitting .207 (6-for-29) over his last seven contests. He does have two homers and one steal during that stretch, but has also struck out eight times with only one walk as well. Rotoworld Today, 9:25 am

    • Notches 13th save
Holmes walked one and struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning Friday to record his 13th save of the season in a 4-2 win over the White Sox.

Advice: The right-hander is back in a four-way tie for the league lead in saves with Emmanuel Clase, Kyle Finnegan and Ryan Helsley, but Holmes is the only one of the quartet who still sports a 0.00 ERA. The closer's luck on that front will run out eventually, but his 0.98 WHIP and 23:4 K:BB through 19.1 innings highlight how dominant he's been to this point. Rotowire.com Today, 7:21 am
