    • Mixed bag in no-decision
Castillo did not factor into the decision Saturday in Baltimore, permitting two runs on four hits and four walks over six innings. He struck out two.

Advice: The four walks were a season high and the two strikeouts were by far a season low for Castillo. He still managed a seven straight quality start, though, keeping his team in it before the Mariners' offense rallied late. It's the first no-decision of the season for Castillo, who is just 4-5 in spite of a 3.28 ERA, including a 2.01 mark across his last seven outings. Rotowire.com Today, 6:55 pm

    • Justin Verlander allows four in loss to Brewers
Justin Verlander gave up four runs in 4 2/3 innings while receiving a loss to the Brewers on Saturday.

Advice: Verlander has essentially alternated strong starts with poor ones since coming off the injured list, and this one goes on the ineffective side. The right-hander allowed four hits and two walks, and the big blow was a three-run homer allowed to William Contreras. He’ll be back on the mound Friday against the Athletics. • Luis Castillo posts quality start in no-decision
Luis Castillo posted a quality start in a no-decision against the Orioles on Saturday, allowing just two runs on four hits across his six innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander also issued four free passes on the day while recording only two strikeouts. The damage done against him came early in this one, as Austin Hays swatted a sacrifice fly in the second inning and Ryan O’Hearn added a run-scoring single in the third. Castillo generated only five swings and misses on 89 pitches on the night, posting an underwhelming CSW of 21 percent. He’ll attempt to get back in the win column as he carries a 3.28 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and a 66/15 K/BB ratio (60 1/3 innings) into Thursday’s matchup against the Yankees in New York. • Ramirez has three hits, home run Saturday
Jose Ramirez went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, and three RBI against the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Ramirez started the scoring with a two-run homer against Bailey Ober in the first inning. He also had an RBI double in the third inning. Ramirez seems to be turning it around as his average is up to .260 on the season now and his RBI total is up to 41.

    • Ober allows five runs against Guardians Saturday
Bailey Ober allowed eight hits, five runs and a walk in four innings and took the loss against the Guardians on Saturday.

Advice: This was Ober’s worst start since he blew up against the Royals in his first start of the season. He had allowed two earned runs or less in six of his previous seven starts. Ober’s ERA is now 4.40 on the season. The 28-year-old right-hander is scheduled to face the Rangers at home next weekend.

    • Four-hit game Saturday
Chapman went 4-for-4 with a walk and four runs scored in Saturday's 14-4 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Chapman doubled and singled twice and also stole his fifth base of the season as he filled the stat sheet. The veteran third baseman had three hits and a steal in Friday's contest, as well, so perhaps he's finally starting to turn the corner. Chapman had been demoted to as low as seventh in the Giants' batting order earlier this month, but he's hit cleanup for the last two games. Rotowire.com Today, 5:12 pm

    • Chisholm blasts sixth home run
Jazz Chisholm went 3-for-5 with three runs scored, three RBI and a home run against the Mets.

Advice: Chisholm’s home run was his sixth of the year. Despite coming into this season in better shape, he hasn’t seen a significant uptick in his production. Chisholm has stayed healthy, which has been a problem for him in the past, but his numbers are fairly similar to last season’s pace across the board.

    • Matt Chapman reaches five times against Rockies
Matt Chapman went 4-for-4 with two doubles, four runs scored, one walk, and a stolen base against the Rockies on Saturday.

Advice: Chapman has broken out at the plate of the last two games. After collecting three hits on Friday, he was a perfect 4-for-4 against the Rockies on Saturday. He started with a double in the first and scored on a home run by Luis Matos. Chapman led off the third with a base hit and scored again on a double by Matos. He added a single and a stolen base in the fifth, then reached third on a double and an error in the seventh before scoring once more. The 31-year-old third baseman is now hitting .236/.292/.388 with five homers, 29 runs scored, 20 RBI, and five steals across 192 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 3:57 pm

    • Not starting Saturday
Ruiz isn't in the Nationals' lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies.

Advice: Ruiz is slashing just .147/.190/.221 through 100 plate appearances on the year, so he will give way to Riley Adams on Saturday as the Nats look for more production at the plate from their catcher. Rotowire.com Today, 12:29 pm
