• Won't return Friday
McCormick (hamstring) will make his second rehab appearance with Double-A Corpus Christi on Friday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: McCormick is nearing a return, as he played five innings in center field with Corpus Christi on Tuesday. However, he won't be back in the minor-league lineup again until Friday, meaning he won't be activated from the injured list until at least Saturday. McCormick has gone 2-for-7 in his first two appearances of the rehab stint. Rotowire.com Today, 8:34 am

  • Starts rehab assignment
Soler (shoulder) went 0-for-4 with one strikeout in his first rehab game with Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday.

Advice: Soler had a freak accident Tuesday when he was hit in the head by a ball while taking batting practice, but he came out of the incident no worse for wear and was cleared to begin his rehab assignment a day later. The slugger is coming back from a right shoulder strain and should be activated from the 10-day injured list in the coming days. Rotowire.com Today, 7:09 am

  • Monster day at plate
Judge went 4-for-4 with a solo home run, three doubles, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Twins.

Advice: Judge opened the scoring with his first-inning solo shot and added an RBI double in the seventh. The outfielder has locked in with power over his last 10 games, going 16-for-36 (.444) with five homers, seven doubles, 11 RBI and 11 runs scored in that span. He was batting .207 at the end of April, but he's up to a .255/.386/.540 slash line with 11 homers, 29 RBI, 24 runs scored two stolen bases and 13 doubles over 44 contests. It's good to see Judge bounce back after the slow start, and getting him in a groove makes the Yankees' already-strong offense even more dangerous. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:30 pm

  • Aaron Judge hammers 467-foot homer
Aaron Judge went 4-for-4 with a mammoth home run, three doubles, two runs scored, two RBI, and a walk in the Yankees’ 4-0 win over the Twins on Wednesday.

Advice: Judge opened the scoring in this one with a solo-shot onto the third deck of Target Field and never made an out. It was the second time in three games Judge had four batted balls over 100 MPH and he’s raised his OPS from .645 to .926 since April 22nd. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:27 pm

  • Homer, three hits vs. Brewers
McCutchen went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 10-2 loss to Milwaukee.

Advice: McCutchen provided a bright spot in an otherwise rough day for the Pirates. The 37-year-old veteran has been swinging the bat well, going 8-for-20 with a pair of homers in his last five games. McCutchen's now slashing .211/.317/.358 with five homers, 18 runs scored, 10 RBI and a stolen base through 34 games this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:42 pm
  • Hits bench against righty
DeLuca is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: For the second time in three games, the right-handed-hitting DeLuca finds himself on the bench against a right-handed starting pitcher (Tanner Houck). Upon returning from the injured list May 3, DeLuca had started in nine consecutive games, but he looks like he could move into more of a short-side platoon role now that the Rays are starting to get healthier. Two left-handed hitters in Josh Lowe and Jonathan Aranda both recently returned from the injured list, and the Rays could get another in Brandon Lowe back before the end of May. • Andrew McCutchen posts three hits in blowout loss
Andrew McCutchen went 3-for-4 with a solo homer on Wednesday in the Pirates’ lopsided defeat at the hands of the Brewers.

Advice: McCutchen was arguably the lone ray of sunshine on a brutal afternoon for Pittsburgh, tallying nearly half of their eight hits in a one-sided affair at American Family Field. The 37-year-old veteran designated hitter scored the first run of the contest on Connor Joe’s third-inning sacrifice fly before going deep in garbage time with a seventh-inning blast off Brewers reliever Jared Koening for his fifth long ball of the season. • Andy Pages takes golden sombrero in victory
Andy Pages went 0-for-5 with four strikeouts while the rest of the Dodgers were scoring 10 runs Tuesday against the Giants.

Advice: Jason Heyward has started a rehab assignment, so this is a really bad time for Pages to go cold. He seems like the more interesting of those two players at this point, but the Dodgers still might send him down if they think Heyward can make at least a modest contribution. • Fine after freak accident
Soler (shoulder/head) didn't suffer any significant injuries after getting hit in the head while hitting on the field Tuesday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Soler took swings on the field before Tuesday's game against the Dodgers as the next step in rehabbing his strained right shoulder, but he was removed by a trainer after a foul ball hit off the top of the cage and struck him in the head. However, it appears the outfielder managed to escape the incident with minimal damage. He will be eligible to come off the injured list Wednesday, though there is no telling whether or not he'll be ready to play then. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 6:56 pm
