    • Correa hammers three hits, two home runs Sunday
Carlos Correa went 3-for-5 with two home runs, two runs scored, and 3 RBI against the Athletics on Sunday.

Advice: Correa continues his hot streak at the dish. The two home runs give him eight total on the season and his average is up to .306 with an .879 OPS. He’s been as good as a player can be in fantasy without stealing bases.

    • Ryan Helsley nabs league-leading 24th save
Ryan Helsley closed out the Cubs on Sunday. He struck out one, walked two, and stranded both runners on base.

Advice: Helsley got into some trouble in the ninth inning and was bailed out by Brendan Donovan who made a catch crashing into the ivy at Wrigley Field to end the game. Helsley is fully back to being one of the best closers in baseball after an injury-marred 2023 season. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:06 pm

    • Remains out of lineup
Doyle (knee) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Doyle will take a seat for the second day in a row while he manages left patella tendinitis. Jake Cave will step in as the Rockies' starting center field in place of Doyle, who can be viewed as day-to-day heading into the team's four-game home set with the Dodgers that begins Monday. • Taking seat Sunday
Hoskins is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

Advice: He'll get a breather for the day game after he started in the first two games of the series while going 0-for-8 with five strikeouts. Jake Bauers will fill in for Hoskins at first base. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:05 am

    • Recapturing playing time
Mullins will start in center field and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Phillies.

Advice: Mullins appeared to have lost hold of his regular spot in the outfield to Austin Hays earlier this month, but the former has seemingly regained the gig. Hays is sitting for the Orioles' third straight matchup with a right-hander (Zack Wheeler), while the lefty-hitting Mullins has started on each of those occasions and also started against a southpaw (Ranger Suarez) on Friday. Mullins enters Sunday's game riding a four-game hitting streak. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:42 am
    • Plays catch Sunday
Verlander (neck) played catch Sunday, and manager Joe Espada has left the door open for the right-hander to return to Houston's rotation this week against the White Sox, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Verlander already seems to be feeling better after he was scratched from his scheduled start Saturday due to neck discomfort. If he responds well in the coming days, the three-time Cy Young Award winner could return for a prime matchup in Chicago, though Espada said Verlander's next start is still up in the air. Ronel Blanco will get the start Sunday against Detroit after Spencer Arrighetti was lit up for seven runs in place of Verlander in the second game of the series. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:37 am

    • Brenton Doyle (knee) out again Sunday vs. PIT
Brenton Doyle (knee) is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the Pirates.

Advice: Doyle was scratched from the lineup Sunday against Pittsburgh while dealing with left patella tendinitis. The speedy outfielder will get at least one more day off, and Jake Cave will handle center field. Rotoworld Sunday, 9:32 am
    • Justin Verlander (neck) could return vs. White Sox
Astros manager Joe Espada told reporters that Justin Verlander (neck) could return for the upcoming series against the White Sox.

Advice: The Astros won’t announce their rotation for the upcoming games against Chicago just yet, largely (entirely) because the status of Verlander is up in the air. The future Hall of Famer was scratched from Saturday’s start against Detroit with discomfort in his neck, and he hasn’t been particularly effective when on the mound. He was able to play catch Sunday, so while it does sound like a trip to the injured list can be avoided. There’s just no guarantee at this point. Rotoworld Sunday, 9:13 am

    • Earns 12th save
Estevez struck out two in a perfect ninth inning to earn the save in a 4-3 win over the Giants on Saturday.

Advice: Called upon in the ninth inning for the second night in a row, Estevez needed just 12 pitches to secure his 12th save of the season. Estevez has not allowed a baserunner in five June appearances and has now converted six consecutive save opportunities dating back to May 20. On the season, Estevez is 12-for-15 in save chances with a 3.68 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 22:3 K:BB in 22 innings. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:04 pm
