    • Carlos Estévez perfect in seventh straight outing
Carlos Estévez threw a scoreless ninth with a two-run lead for a save Monday against the Brewers.

Advice: It was Estévez’s seventh consecutive perfect inning, a stretch that’s lowered his ERA from 5.06 to 3.52. He still doesn’t seem like a great bet going forward, but he certainly has it working now. Rotoworld Today, 10:01 pm
    • Tagged with five runs
Kikuchi (4-6) allowed five runs on seven hits over four innings Monday, striking out seven and taking a loss against Boston.

Advice: Kikuchi was cursed by the long ball Monday, coughing up four solo shots in the first three innings. Tyler O'Neill accounted for two of them, including in the first inning when he went back-to-back with Rafael Devers. Kikuchi had allowed just four home runs over his previous six starts entering Monday and had not given up multiple long balls in any start this season. He's registered a 6.17 ERA over his last five starts, bumping his season ERA to 3.65 through 81.1 frames. Kikuchi's next start is projected to be in Cleveland. Rotowire.com Today, 7:43 pm

    • Kikuchi allows five in loss to Red Sox Monday
Yusei Kikuchi allowed five runs in four innings and took the loss against the Red Sox on Monday.

Advice: Kikuchi gave up seven hits, walked none and struck out seven. He had won his last two starts. Kikuchi was hit hard in this one as he allowed four home runs to the Red Sox. He’s now allowed 11 home runs on the season (1.22 HR/9). It was the second time in four June starts that Kikuchi allowed five runs. The 33-year-old left-hander is set to face the Guardians on the road this weekend.

    • Back in Colorado lineup
Doyle (knee) will start in center field and bat leadoff in Monday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Doyle missed the previous two contests with left patella tendinitis but is feeling well enough to give it a go Monday. The center fielder has collected a .732 OPS with five home runs and 18 stolen bases this season for the Rockies. Rotowire.com Today, 12:49 pm

    • Exiting lineup versus lefty
Gorman is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Gorman will take a seat for the series opener in Miami while southpaw Braxton Garrett toes the rubber for the Marlins. Jose Fermin will fill in at second base for Gorman, who is batting .186 against lefties this season. Rotowire.com Today, 11:39 am

    • Sim game on tap Tuesday
Snell (groin) is scheduled to throw a three-inning simulated game Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: On the injured list once again due to a left groin strain after previously missing just over a month earlier in the season with a left adductor strain, Snell looks to be tracking toward an abbreviated stint on the shelf. He completed a bullpen session in San Francisco on Saturday and will now advance to the next phase of his rehab by facing hitters. If all goes well Tuesday, Snell could avoid a rehab assignment and return to the San Francisco rotation as soon as this Saturday or Sunday in St. Louis. Rotowire.com Today, 11:10 am

    • Homers in loss
Steer went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Steer gave the Reds a 3-0 lead in the fourth inning when he belted his eighth home run of the season. He's been quiet of late, having entered the contest on a 4-for-31 (.129) run with one RBI over the previous nine games. Despite the drop in production, Steer leads Cincinnati with 42 RBI. • Goes deep Sunday
Rutschman went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Rutschman entered Sunday just 1-for-17 over his last five games, an unusual slump for the catcher. He took Zack Wheeler deep in the third inning to extend the Orioles' lead to 4-0, and that was ultimately all they needed in the win. Rutschman is up to a .289/.333/.473 slash line with 14 homers, 53 RBI, 36 runs scored, one stolen base and nine doubles through 67 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:46 pm
    • Logs third steal
Gorman went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Gorman entered Sunday just 1-for-28 over his last seven games, though the slump hasn't cost him playing time. The second baseman picked up a steal after his second-inning single, giving him three thefts on four attempts this year. For the season, Gorman is slashing .208/.287/.442 with 15 home runs, 33 RBI, 30 runs scored and eight doubles over 64 contests. He's also striking out at a 35.5 percent rate, and until he corrects that issue, he's likely to carry a low batting average. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:38 pm
