    • Homers in Friday's loss
Correa went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 3-2 extra-inning loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Correa left Thursday's game with a bruised right wrist, but he didn't end up missing time. The homer was his ninth of the season and got him to the 40-RBI mark this year, though it was all the run production the Twins could muster in Friday's game. The shortstop has 12 multi-hit efforts over his last 21 games, going 36-for-83 (.434) in that span. For the year, he's at a .312/.381/.506 slash line across 64 contests. • Fans seven in Friday's loss
Kikuchi (4-8) took the loss Friday as the Blue Jays were routed 16-5 by the Yankees, giving up four runs on four hits and a walk over five-plus innings. He struck out seven.

Advice: The southpaw was sharp to begin the game and actually took a 3-1 lead into the top of the sixth inning, but after allowing two straight singles to open the frame, Juan Soto flipped the script with a three-run blast that chased Kikuchi from the game. Kikuchi has been tagged for 13 runs in only 11 innings over his last three starts, inflating his ERA to 4.18 with a 1.31 WHIP and 93:21 K:BB through 88.1 innings. He'll look to turn things around in his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next week against the Astros. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:44 pm
    • Michael Kopech earns second save in two days
Michael Kopech pitched a hitless ninth inning against the Rockies for his seventh save Friday.

Advice: Kopech has saves on back-to-back days after going nearly six weeks without one. It’s good to see, but it does mean he’ll be of Saturday, perhaps creating a save opportunity for Steven Wilson. John Brebbia has also pitched back-to-back days, so he probably won’t be an option. • Brenton Doyle collects seventh homer, 19th steal
Brenton Doyle went 2-for-4 with a homer and a steal versus the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Doyle came into the night batting .235/.258/.284 in June and was one more bad game away seeing his OPS drop below .700, so this helps a bunch. He still shouldn’t be batting at the top of the Rockies order right now, but for as long it continues, he’ll be worth playing in mixed leagues, especially when the Rockies are at home. • Secures 16th save
Estevez threw a perfect ninth inning to earn a save over Detroit on Friday.

Advice: Estevez needed only nine pitches to sit down the heart of the Tigers' lineup in order. He's up to 16 saves on the year and has converted 10 straight chances. Since blowing his last save May 10, Estevez has given up just one earned run over 14.1 innings. He's lowered his season ERA to 3.12 with an impressive 27:3 K:BB through 26 appearances. • Carlos Correa hits two-run homer vs. Mariners
Carlos Correa connected on a two-run homer in a loss to the Mariners on Friday.

Advice: The good run for Correa continues, as he broke up Logan Gilbert’s shutout in the sixth inning with a two-run blast over the field-field fence in the sixth inning. That’s nine homers now on the season for the 29-year-old, and he also produced a single in what has been an extraordinary June for Correa. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:32 pm

    • Bags seventh save
Kopech earned the save in Friday's 5-3 win over the Rockies, pitching a scoreless inning and working around a walk.

Advice: The 28-year-old entered the ninth with a two-run lead and looked to immediately be in danger as he opened with six-pitch walk to Ryan McMahon. However, Kopech induced two consecutive groudouts, including one of the double-play variety, to escape with just his second save in June. The Chicago right-hander lowered his season ERA to 4.46 over 34.1 innings as he appears to have seized control of the closer's role over John Brebbia for the time being. • Carlos Estévez picks up 16th save of year vs. DET
Carlos Estévez didn’t give up a hit while qualifying for a save against the Tigers on Friday.

Advice: Estévez didn’t give up a hit, didn’t strike anyone out and didn’t issue a walk. He didn’t really have a chance to do any of those things as the Tigers made him throw only nine pitches; eight of those landing for strikes. The 31-year-old is already up to 16 saves on the year with a very useable 3.12 ERA. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:06 pm
    • Cracks homer, swipes bag in loss
Doyle went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a steal in Friday's 5-3 loss to the White Sox.

Advice: The 26-year-old gave Colorado a 2-1 lead in the sixth inning when a launched a 426-foot, two-run homer off Drew Thorpe. Doyle later bagged his team-leading 19th stolen base, marking his fifth straight success since last being caught June 5. The Rockies' leadoff hitter hopes this performance spurs a hot streak, as he entered hitting .235 (19-for-81) with just two extra-base hits -- one homer and one double -- across 22 games in June.
