His control has been slipping since he returned to the rotation in late May -- over his last five starts, Suarez has a 19:13 K:BB in 23 innings despite a superficially strong 2.35 ERA. With Dean Kremer (triceps) closing in on a return and Cade Povich coming off an impressive outing against Atlanta, Suarez could wind up getting bumped to the bullpen once again. Burleson is up to 10 homers on the season, and five of them have come in June. The 35-year-old surrendered at least seven hits for the fourth time this season but wound up generating his seventh quality start of the campaign.       Pablo López was crushed for five runs over four innings on Tuesday in a no-decision the Rays.

      Advice: The ball was flying on Tuesday night at Target Field as López was tagged for seven hits, including a pair of homers, before a lengthy rain delay brought his outing to a close. He finished with three strikeouts and only issued one walk. The surface results haven’t been inspiring this season, but he still holds a strong 3.47 xFIP, which seems to indicate that he’s been extremely unlucky.       Megill retired the only batter he faced to earn the save in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Angels.

      Advice: The Brewers led 6-0 going into the ninth inning, but both Elieser Hernandez and Joel Payamps struggled. That led to Megill entering the game with runners on first and second, and he got Taylor Ward to fly out to end the Angels' rally. Megill has a save in six straight outings and he's converted his last eight chances. He's now 14-for-15 in save opportunities on the year with a 2.11 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 26:7 K:BB over 21.1 innings, functioning as the Brewers' primary closer while Devin Williams (back) is out.
