The infielder went 14-for-39 (.359) with three homers and nine RBI over his last 12 games in May, making him one of the Mariners' hotter hitters. For the year, France has a .260/.325/.411 slash line, seven homers, 24 RBI, 18 runs scored and eight doubles over 55 contests while seeing a starting role at first base.       Munoz allowed a hit and struck out two in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Friday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

      Advice: Munoz's scoreless streak is up to six innings, and he allowed just one run over 13.1 innings in May while converting all seven of his save chances during the month. The closer is 12-for-13 in save chances this year. He's been hard to hit with a 1.42 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 35:8 K:BB over 25.1 innings as the Mariners' top ninth-inning option.       Woo allowed three hits and struck out two without walking a batter over six scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Angels on Friday.

      Advice: Woo needed just 66 pitches (47 strikes) to complete six frames, but that was all for his start. Trent Thornton and Taylor Saucedo combined to allow four runs in the seventh inning, wiping out the Mariners' lead and Woo's chance to earn his third win of the year, but this was still a stellar outing for the 24-year-old. He's now at a 1.30 ERA, 0.58 WHIP and 28:2 K:BB over 27.2 innings across five starts. The Mariners continue to manage his pitch count, but he's completed six innings in each of his last three starts thanks to his efficiency. Woo is projected for a road start in Oakland next week.       Advice: Judge ended May with a bang, earning his first multi-homer game of the year while reaching the 20-homer mark. He did a ton of damage to opposing pitchers this month, going 36-for-97 (.371) with 14 long balls, 12 doubles and 27 RBI over 28 contests.       Stroman (5-2) allowed two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out two over 7.1 innings to earn the win over the Giants on Friday.

      Advice: Stroman has pitched into the eighth inning in two of his last four starts, allowing just three runs over 26.2 innings in that span. During his hot stretch, he's posted a 15:7 K:BB, but that's about the only weak spot in his game right now. Stroman is at a 2.73 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 55:29 K:BB over 69.1 innings across 12 starts.       Hicks (4-2) allowed five runs (four earned) on eight hits and struck out four without walking a batter over 5.1 innings, taking the loss versus the Yankees on Friday.

      Advice: Aaron Judge did most of the damage against Hicks, taking him deep for a three-run home run in the third inning and a solo shot in the sixth. The five runs allowed were the most Hicks has given up in a start this season, though it was a positive to see him issue no walks for the fourth time in 12 outings. Homers are becoming a problem for the right-hander -- he's allowed five of them over his last four starts after giving up just one across his first eight outings.       Tovar went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 4-1 win over the Dodgers.

      Advice: Tovar was the only Rockie with multiple hits in the contest. This was his 10th multi-hit effort over his last 16 games, a span in which he's batting .356 (26-for-73) with four homers, nine RBI, 14 runs scored and one stolen base. The shortstop is up to a .294/.328/.481 slash line with eight homers, 24 RBI, 30 runs scored, four steals, 17 doubles and a triple over 55 contests this season.       Beeks struck out two over 1.1 perfect innings to earn the save in Friday's 4-1 win over the Dodgers.

      Advice: Beeks faced runners on the corners with two outs in the eighth inning after relieving Victor Vodnik, and he was able to strike out Freddie Freeman. Beeks stayed in for the ninth and kept his line clean to earn his second save in three outings. He allowed a run in four straight appearances from May 22-27, allowing Tyler Kinley to work his way into the closer conversation, but Beeks is still in the mix as well.       Hudson (2-7) allowed a run on four hits and a walk while striking out three over seven-plus innings in Friday's win over the Dodgers.

      Advice: Hudson allowed three baserunners through seven innings, but he put the first two batters aboard in the eighth, and one of them came around to score. This was Hudson's second quality start in a row, and he's achieved that against the Phillies and the Dodgers, the two best teams in the National League. It's too soon to say the right-hander has turned his season around, especially with Coors Field as his home park, but he's pitched well lately.
