    Advice: Rengifo reached the 20-steal mark for the season Friday after totaling just 18 thefts over his first five campaigns. The infielder has been good in June, batting .279 (19-for-68) with eight steals on 11 attempts, though he has just one extra-base hit this month.     Andrew Abbott fanned 10 while allowing two runs in 5 2/3 innings Friday in a win over the Red Sox.

    Advice: The 10 strikeouts topped his previous season high by two. Abbott yielded homers to Connor Wong and Jarren Duran, but no further damage was done. There still isn’t much at all to like about Abbott’s peripherals, but he has reduced his walk rate, and this is the right year to be a big flyball pitcher.     Alexis Díaz worked a scoreless ninth for his 17th save Friday against the Red Sox.

    Advice: Díaz has converted 10 straight save chances, even though he’s had a few hiccups during the run. His 5.08 ERA and 29/19 K/BB ratio in 28 1/3 innings still don’t inspire a ton of confidence, but things are certainly looking up from a few weeks ago. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:41 pm

    Kutter Crawford surrendered five runs — three earned — in 6 1/3 innings Friday in a loss to the Reds.

    Advice: Crawford surrendered three homers tonight, bringing his total allowed to seven in his last three starts. He’s given up at least one in seven straight outings.     Estevez struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the save in Friday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Dodgers.

    Advice: Estevez has not put a runner on base over his last eight innings, striking out eight and earning seven saves and a win in that span. A groundout moved the initial runner to third base in the 10th inning, but Estevez struck out the next two batters to protect the one-run lead. He's now 14-for-17 in save chances with a 3.38 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 25:3 K:BB over 24 innings. This is arguably the best Estevez has ever looked in the majors, which will boost his trade value, though he's unlikely to be a primary closer on a different team if a deal comes to fruition.     Lewis went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-5 loss to the Athletics.

    Advice: Lewis homered for the fifth time in his last six games, taking Joey Estes deep in the sixth inning. With 10 homers, 14 RBI and 15 runs scored over just 16 contests this season, Lewis is enjoying a breakout campaign despite missing over two months with an injury.     Manny Machado went 4-for-5 with an RBI in a victory Friday over the Brewers.

    Advice: Machado and Jake Cronenworth were the offensive stars for the Padres on Friday; combining to go 9-for-10 in the four-run win.     Luis Arraez hit a two-run homer against the Brewers on Friday in a win for the Padres.

    Advice: Arraez is not known for his power, but the 27-year-old was able to golf out a pitch down and in for his second homer of the season.
