    • Notches 10th save
Iglesias allowed a run on a hit and a walk over one inning Friday. He earned a save over the Mets.

Advice: Iglesias coughed up an RBI single to Pete Alonso with two outs in the ninth but was able to close out the 4-2 victory. Iglesias has now converted 10 of his 12 save chances this year while posting a 10:4 K:BB through 15.1 innings. Friday was the first time he allowed an earned run since April 24 and he still owns a strong 2.25 ERA. Rotowire.com 23 minutes ago
    • Notches fifth save
Hader earned the save in Friday's 5-2 win over the Tigers, working around a walk while striking out two in a scoreless inning.

Advice: Hader's allowed just one earned run in his last 7.1 innings while improving to 5-for-6 in save chances. After a shaky start to the year, the left-hander's lowered his ERA to 5.29 with a 1.35 WHIP and 27:8 K:BB across 17 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 7:52 pm

    • Ronald Acuña Jr. goes deep in win
Ronald Acuña Jr. hit just his third home run of the season Friday in a win over the Mets.

Advice: A welcome sight, Acuña’s homer was an impressive shot traveling an estimated 461 feet through the cold, rainy New York night at 114.2 mph exit velocity. Acuña’s power hasn’t been there yet this season, but patience is a virtue with a superstar of this level. Rotoworld Today, 7:50 pm
    • Raisel Iglesias earns shaky save over Mets
Raisel Iglesias closed out the Mets for his 10th save of the season Friday despite allowing an earned run.

Advice: Results wise, Iglesias has been great this season with a 2.35 ERA. There’s some fear of regression though with a paltry 16.1 K%, by far the lowest of his career. A.J. Minter has faltered out of the gate, so Iglesias still likely has a firm hold on Atlanta’s closer role. Rotoworld Today, 7:48 pm
    • Sharp in second win
Valdez (2-1) earned the win Friday over the Tigers, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks over seven innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Valdez allowed two runs on a Matt Vierling double in the third inning before blanking Detroit over his final four frames en route to his second victory of the year. It's an encouraging bounce-back effort from Valdez, who allowed five runs in a loss to Seattle in his previous start. The left-hander lowered his ERA to 3.64 with a 1.35 WHIP and 23:9 K:BB across five starts (29.2 innings). Valdez, who has walked only one batter over his past three starts, is currently scheduled for a home matchup with the A's in his next outing. Rotowire.com Today, 7:13 pm

    • Josh Hader slams door on Tigers on Friday night
Josh Hader picked up his fifth save of the season on Friday night, working a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a three-run advantage against the Tigers.

Advice: After struggling for most of the season, Hader recorded saves on back-to-back nights for the first time all season. The 30-year-old southpaw did issue a two-out walk to Jake Rogers after getting Ryan Vilade on a swinging-third strike, Javier Baez on a fly ball to center, but he battled back to get Andy Ibanez on strikes to end it. He has now converted five of his first six save chances with an impressive 27/8 K/BB ratio over 17 innings on the year — it’s just the 5.29 ERA that looks horribly out of place. • Framber Valdez defeats Tigers to improve to 2-1
Framber Valdez pitched well in Friday night’s victory over the Tigers, allowing only two runs on six hits over seven frames.

Advice: Valdez walked two and punched out four on the night. He surrendered a two-run double to Matt Vierling in the third inning, but kept the Tigers’ off the board the remainder of his night — affording his offense the opportunity to come back and earn him a win, which they finally did in the eighth inning. The 30-year-old southpaw got 10 swings and misses on 103 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 23 percent. He’ll look to replicate this fine outing as he carries a 3.64 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and a 23/9 K/BB ratio (29 2/3 innings) into Wednesday’s matchup against the Athletics. Rotoworld Today, 6:08 pm

    • Masataka Yoshida (thumb) will not need surgery
Red Sox’ manager Alex Cora announced Friday that Masataka Yoshida will not require surgery on his injured left thumb.

Advice: He’s still going to be shut down for a couple of weeks before he starts swinging a bat again, but overall this is encouraging news for the Red Sox and for fantasy managers. Yoshida has been shelved since the beginning of May. He has hit .275/.348/.388 with a pair of homers, 11 RBI and an 11/6 K/BB ratio over 89 plate appearances in 24 games on the season. • On bench Friday
Stott is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Miami.

Advice: Stott will defer to Whit Merrifield at second base with a lefty (Trevor Rogers) on the mound for Miami. Stott is slashing .250/.344/.389 through 128 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Today, 12:59 pm
