    • Out of Tuesday's lineup
Urshela is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game at Kansas City.

Advice: Urshela has gone 4-for-19 with two doubles in six games since he returned from the injured list last week, and he'll take a seat for Tuesday's contest. Matt Vierling will handle the hot corner and bat fifth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:51 pm

    • Logs steal in loss
Pena went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Monday's 9-7 loss to the Angels.

Advice: Pena is hitting .324 (23-for-71) over 19 games in May. It hasn't been a totally empty average -- he's picked up five extra-base hits, three steals, nine RBI and 14 runs scored. The shortstop is slashing .326/.365/.457 with seven steals, five homers, 20 RBI and 30 runs through 48 contests overall. He's in an everyday role and on pace for a 20-steal season, so there's a fair amount to like about Pena's game in his third major-league season. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:50 pm

    • Tallies three hits in win
Urshela went 3-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 8-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Urshela just returned from the injured list Thursday after missing about a month due to a hamstring injury, and these were his first hits since returning, pushing his season average up to a solid .290. The 32-year-old should continue to start most days at third base, though the team will likely find him regular off days to ensure he stays healthy. Matt Vierling is the top option to start at the hot corner when Urshela is on the bench. Rotowire.com Sunday, 5:54 am

    • Gio Urshela has three hits in victory over D’Backs
Gio Urshela went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and an RBI in a lopsided victory over the Diamondbacks on Saturday night in Arizona.

Advice: Urshela started a six-run uprising in the seventh inning with a leadoff double off of Zac Gallen. He scored the team’s first run on an RBI double off the bat of Javier Báez. The 32-year-old infielder then came to bat again later in the inning and delivered an RBI single that increased the Tigers’ lead to 6-2. With his three-hit evening, Urshela is now hitting .290/.300/.348 with zero homers and seven RBI in 71 plate appearances on the year. Rotoworld Saturday, 8:04 pm

    • Jeremy Peña hits three-run blast in win over MIL
Jeremy Peña hit a three-run homer to help the Astros to a 5-4 win over the Brewers on Friday.

Advice: Peña came up huge for the Astros with a three-run homer off Freddy Peralta that gave the Astros their 5-4 lead in the fifth inning. The shortstop has enjoyed a strong first six-plus weeks of the season, as he’s gone deep five times while slashing .326/.364/.469. This is the version of Peña fantasy managers were hoping to see in 2023. So far, so good in 2024. Rotoworld Friday, 7:55 pm

    • Day off Friday
Urshela isn't in the Tigers' lineup for Friday's game against Arizona, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Advice: Urshela has gone 0-for-6 since returning from the injured list Tuesday, and he'll get a chance to clear his head Friday. Matt Vierling will fill the open spot at third base and bat fifth. Rotowire.com Friday, 4:20 pm

    • Keeps raking with homer
Volpe went 2-for-5 with a solo home run during Thursday's 5-0 win over the Twins.

Advice: Volpe extended his hit streak to nine games with a first-inning solo home run off Joe Ryan. During that stretch, Volpe has gone yard three times with 10 total RBI while logging multiple hits in four contests. After an up-and-down rookie campaign, Volpe owns a .273/.348/.432 slash line with six homers and nine stolen bases through 199 plate appearances in 2024. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:01 pm

    • Anthony Volpe homers, steals base in victory
Anthony Volpe went 2-for-5 with a leadoff homer and also stole a base on Thursday, leading the Yankees to a 5-0 victory over the Twins.

Advice: Volpe kicked off the contest with a leadoff homer against Twins starter Joe Ryan for his sixth round-tripper of the year. He also picked up his ninth stolen base of the season a couple frames later. The 23-year-old’s power output was a bit diminished at the outset of the year following offseason changes to flatten his swing and implement an all-fields approach, but he’s started to drive the ball a bit more of late with three homers in his last nine contests. • Jeremy Peña collects two hits in win over Athletics
Jeremy Peña went 2-for-4 with a run scored in a 3-0 win over the Athletics on Wednesday.

Advice: Peña led off the fourth inning with a base hit and scored on a sacrifice fly by Mauricio Dubón. He later started the sixth inning with a single, but was stranded on the bases. The multi-hit day brings Peña slash line to an impressive .333/.375/.455 with four homers, 26 runs scored, 16 RBI, and six steals across 176 plate appearances. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:23 pm
