    • Marcus Semien plates three runs to lead Rangers
      Marcus Semien delivered a bases-clearing three-run double in the sixth inning on Friday night, propelling the Rangers to a 6-2 victory over the visiting Royals.

      Advice: The Rangers had just taken the lead as Jonah Heim plated a run with a fielder’s choice. Semien then followed by smacking a two-out, three-run double off of Sammy Long to break the game wide open. It was the only hit of the game in four at-bats for Semien, but it proved to be the difference-maker.       The Rockies placed Blackmon on the 10-day injured list Friday, retroactive to June 19, due to a right hamstring strain.

      Advice: Blackmon missed the last three games after injuring his hamstring Tuesday against the Dodgers. Prior to the injury, Blackmon was slashing .333/.397/.509 with 10 runs, seven doubles and two RBI over 57 at-bats in June.
