    • Miller strikes out nine in win Saturday
      Bryce Miller threw six shutout innings and picked up the win in the Mariners’ 9-0 victory over the Angels on Saturday.

      Advice: The win was Miller’s fifth of the season. He gave up three hits, walked one and struck out nine. Miller’s ERA is now 3.18 on the season. After losing three straight decisions, he’s now won his last two starts. The 25-year-old right-hander is set to face the Royals on the road next week. Rotoworld Today, 7:25 pm
       
    • Taj Bradley lit up for nine runs in loss to Orioles
      Taj Bradley allowed nine runs across 3 1/3 innings in a loss to the Orioles on Saturday.

      Advice: Bradley had some trouble keeping the ball in the yard in Baltimore. Ryan Mountcastle got the scoring started with a two-run blast in the first inning. Anthony Santander followed with a solo homer. Jordan Westburg then led off the second with the third home run for the Orioles. Baltimore would bring six more runs in, including another two-run blast by Ryan Mountcastle in the fourth, before Bradley was relieved. The 23-year-old right-hander ends the day with a 5.81 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and a 32/9 K/BB ratio across 26 1/3 innings.     • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. swipes base in loss to Bucs
      Vladimir Guerrero Jr. swiped his second base of the season and scored the Blue Jays’ lone run in Saturday’s loss to the Pirates.

      Advice: The 25-year-old slugger smacked a one-out single off of Mitch Keller in the sixth inning, advanced to second on a line drive off the bat of Bo Bichette and scored the Jays’ only run on a two-out RBI single by Dan Vogelbach. He also drew a walk in the opening inning and swiped second base, but was left stranded there.       Schneider went 1-for-6 with a two-run home run in Friday's 5-3 extra-innings win over the Pirates.

      Advice: The 25-year-old was having a tough night, striking out three times in his first five trips to the plate -- including in the 10th inning with the potential winning run at third base and one out -- but Schneider redeemed himself when he got hold of a 98.1 mph fastball from Kyle Nicolas in the 14th inning and launched it over the right-field fence. Schneider has scored a run in five straight games, taking advantage of his placement at the top of the order, but he's also been a consistent run producer of late, recording at least one RBI in seven of the last nine games.       Munoz allowed a hit and struck out two in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Friday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

      Advice: Munoz's scoreless streak is up to six innings, and he allowed just one run over 13.1 innings in May while converting all seven of his save chances during the month. The closer is 12-for-13 in save chances this year. He's been hard to hit with a 1.42 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 35:8 K:BB over 25.1 innings as the Mariners' top ninth-inning option.       Buehler (1-3) allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits and four walks while striking out seven over six innings, taking the loss Friday versus the Rockies.

      Advice: Buehler gave up three runs in the third inning and a solo home run to Ezequiel Tovar in the fourth. While it wasn't a particularly sharp outing for Buehler, the Dodgers failed to support him with just five hits and two walks. He has two quality starts in five outings since returning from Tommy John surgery. Buehler is at a 4.32 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 24:7 K:BB over 25 innings this season.       Andrés Muñoz fired a scoreless ninth with two strikeouts to pick up a save Friday against the Angels.

      Advice: Muñoz needed just 15 pitches to get through the outing with 11 of them going for strikes. The right-hander has been absolutely dominant as of late with a 1.42 ERA and 12 saves for his troubles. To say he’s not in danger of giving up his closing gig is quite the understatement.       Walker Buehler allowed four runs — three earned — in a loss Friday to the Rockies.

      Advice: Buehler dealt with control issues, as he walked four while throwing 56-of-92 pitches for strikes. The 29-year-old allowed three runs in the third with run-scoring hits by Brendan Rodgers and Kris Bryant, and an inning later he allowed a solo shot to Ezequiel Tovar. It wasn’t a horrific start and Buehler did strike out seven, but a disappointing one considering the opponent. He’ll get the Pirates next week, assuming the rotation doesn’t change.
