    • Records 15th save
Bednar pitched a perfect ninth to pick up the save against the Reds in Monday's 4-1 win.

Advice: After serving up homers in each of his last two appearances, it was nice to see Bednar get back on track with a clean ninth. Bednar got off to a disastrous start this season, but he's turned it around with a 1.88 ERA over his last 19.1 innings. Despite the 5.34 ERA for the season, Bednar remains one of the better late-inning options, as his 15 saves are tied for eighth most in the majors. Rotowire.com 57 minutes ago

    • Schneider blasts ninth home run in loss Monday
Davis Schneider went 1-for-5 with a solo home run against the Red Sox on Monday.

Advice: Schneider’s home run was his ninth. He took Red Sox starter Nick Pivetta deep in the seventh inning. Schneider continues to hit for power with a .201 ISO on the year, but his average is just .225 this season. Rotoworld Today, 7:23 pm

    • Rafaela has two hits, home run in win Monday
Ceddanne Rafaela went 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and a solo home run against the Blue Jays on Monday.

Advice: Rafaela’s home run was his eighth of the season. Despite hitting ninth regularly, he’s up to 40 RBI on the season, which leads the team. Rafaela’s only hitting .243, but his counting numbers show he’s been a very productive player this year. Rotoworld Today, 7:18 pm

    • David Bednar silences Reds to notch 15th save
David Bednar tossed a perfect frame on Monday against the Reds to record his 15th save of the season.

Advice: Bednar was summoned to protect a three-run lead in the final frame and required just 11 pitches (eight strikes) to spin a flawless frame. It was a nice rebound effort for the 29-year-old stopper after giving up solo homers in each of his previous two appearances. He’s converted 15 of his 18 save opportunities on the year. • Starting rehab assignment
Bouchard (ankle) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.

Advice: Bouchard is less than two weeks removed from suffering a right ankle sprain but is ready to test things out in a game setting. He is eligible for activation at any time, but the Rockies could keep him at Albuquerque rather than retuning him to the major-league roster. Rotowire.com Today, 3:19 pm

    • Clubs 10th homer
Freeman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-0 victory versus the Royals.

Advice: Freeman reached double-digit homers on the campaign with his sixth-inning solo blast. The veteran first baseman has begun to pick up the pace in terms of power, going deep four times in 14 contests in June after coming into the month with just six long balls across 59 games. Freeman's pair of hits Sunday also lifted his average back up to .300 -- he's slashing .300/.401/.502 in 319 plate appearances on the season. Rotowire.com Today, 11:46 am
    • On base four times Sunday
Martinez went 2-for-3 with two walks, a double, a run scored and an RBI in Sunday's win over the Padres.

Advice: The veteran DH was a key part of the Mets' 11-run eruption Sunday, and Martinez enjoyed a huge weekend overall against San Diego -- he went 6-for-9 at the plate with two doubles, two homers, six RBI and nine runs, and he reached base in 10 straight plate appearances during the three-game set. The 36-year-old is slashing .293/.363/.518 on the season with eight home runs and 27 RBI in 44 contests. Rotowire.com Today, 9:59 am

    • Three homers in nine games
Siri went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and two runs scored Sunday against Atlanta.

Advice: Siri slugged his third home run in his last nine starts, bringing his total on the season to eight. He's also maintained a .261 average with eight RBI and nine runs scored across 13 games in June, though his 36.7 percent strikeout rate in that span suggests his average will dip. Nevertheless, Siri is providing solid production across four categories for the time being. Rotowire.com Today, 6:35 am

    • Three more hits in win
Rafaela went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Sunday's 9-3 win over the Yankees.

Advice: Rafaela has multiple hits in four of the last five games, including three hits in each of the last two contests. The steal was his first since June 1, though he's up to nine thefts on 14 attempts this year. The 23-year-old is up to a .238/.264/.383 slash line through 263 plate appearances this season, though his performance in June has seen him trend upward in everything but power.
