    • Starling Marte has two hits, steals base in loss
Starling Marte went 2-for-3 with an RBI and also stole a base on Saturday in the Mets’ loss to the Rays.

Advice: Marte was one of the few bright spots for the Mets in this one as they managed just six hits combined against Rays starter Zack Littell and a trio of relievers. It’s still early, but the 35-year-old veteran outfielder has looked rejuvenated this season, batting .275/.313/.408 with 16 runs scored, four homers, 15 RBI and seven steals in 129 plate appearances. • Homers twice in third inning
Rooker went 3-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in Saturday's 20-4 victory over the Marlins.

Advice: HE became the first Athletics player to homer twice in the same inning since Mark McGwire did it in September of 1996. Rooker did it during Oakland's 10-run third inning Saturday, taking starter Trevor Rogers deep with a two-run shot and then reliever Darren McCaughan over the boards with a three-run blast. He also added a single and a walk. Rooker is up to eight home runs on the season even after going on the injured list last month. Of course, he's also hitting just .240 and striking out at a 36.5 percent rate, but fantasy managers knew what they were getting into with Rooker and should be satisfied with the returns 22 games in. • Bobby Witt Jr. steals base in blowout loss
Bobby Witt Jr. walked twice and also stole a base on Saturday in the Royals’ lopsided defeat at the hands of the Rangers.

Advice: Witt is already up to 11 stolen bases on the season and continues to cement his status as one of the elite five-category impact contributors in the fantasy landscape. The 23-year-old superstar shortstop boasts a robust .313/.367/.530 triple-slash line with 29 runs scored, four homers, 19 RBI and 11 thefts in 147 plate appearances over 34 games. • Brent Rooker powers A’s in 20-run explosion
Brent Rooker went 3-for-4 with two homers and five RBI in a 20-4 win over the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: With a runner on in the third inning, Rooker took Trevor Rogers deep for a two-run homer. The A’s would bat around the order, adding five more runs before Rooker blasted a three-run shot for his second of the inning in Oakland’s offensive explosion. He added a walk and a base hit, ending his day slashing .240/.329/.600 with eight homers and 20 RBI across 85 plate appearances. Rotoworld Saturday, 7:25 pm

    • CJ Abrams collects two hits, steals base vs. Blue Jays
CJ Abrams went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Abrams knocked a base hit in the third and stole second to get into scoring position, but was stranded on the bases. Down by four runs with the bases loaded, he sent a fly ball to deep center field that fell just short of a grand slam. He settled for a sacrifice fly to bring home a run. Abrams added a base hit in the ninth, ending his day slashing .281/.348/.570 with seven homers, 23 runs scored, 19 RBI, and eight steals across 136 plate appearances. • Max Kepler goes deep in victory over Red Sox
Max Kepler went 2-for-4 and swatted a solo home run on Saturday, helping to lead the Twins to a 3-1 victory over the visiting Red Sox.

Advice: Kepler broke a 1-1 tie when he smashed a 405-foot (101.1 mph EV) solo shot off of Cam Booser in the fourth inning. He also singled in the sixth inning but wound up stranded on second base. All Kepler has done is hit since returning from the injured list, and with his two-hit attack on Saturday he’s now slashing .273/.339/.418 with a pair of long balls and 11 RBI in his first 16 games. He’s worth a look in any mixed leagues where he may still be available. Rotoworld Saturday, 1:53 pm

    • Notches 10th steal
Witt went 1-for-4 with one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Friday's 7-1 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Witt's RBI single put the Royals up 3-1 in the seventh inning. He then stole second and scored on a Salvador Perez three-run home run. Witt is one of seven players to reach double-digit steals so far this season, though he's also been caught four times, most among those players. The shortstop is batting .357 during his seven-game hitting streak, and he's at a .318/.364/.538 slash line through 33 contests overall. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:14 am

    • Throws across infield
Gelof (oblique) threw across the infield before Friday's game against the Marlins, the Associated Press reports.

Advice: Gelof was cleared for baseball activities Wednesday, when he began fielding grounders and playing catch. His ability to do some more aggressive throwing Friday is encouraging, but it remains unclear when he'll be ready to pick up a bat again. Rotowire.com Friday, 11:13 pm

    • Goes deep in win
Rooker went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer in Friday's win over the Marlins.

Advice: Rooker opened the scoring Friday night, crushing a titanic 440-foot homer off Ryan Weathers in the fourth inning to give Oakland the lead. Despite sporting a .211 batting average, the Athletics designated hitter has provided plenty of power with six homers while slugging .507. Rooker may be heating up along with the spring weather, as he's hit .269 (7-for-26) with two homers and eight RBI over his last eight games. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:41 pm
