OFFSEASON TRADING: AVAILABLE BETWEEN FEBRUARY 28 and MARCH 3 at 11:59 pm ET. Both teams must submit acceptance of the trade to the commissioner with the names and contracts of the players involved to prove that each side understands the value being exchanged. Both parties should email the Trade Thread or the commissioner (Matt T.) at mkyver@yahoo.com with the deal and your acceptance. Commissioner will post accepted deals for league review. All league review will conclude by March 5 at 11:59 pm, though the timeframe for earlier submitted deals may conclude earlier.

KEEPERS FOR 2024 AUCTION: As you think about keepers, recall that the league uses an approach with limited keepers who have unlimited years of fixed contracts. The current number is up to 7 standard keepers (this 7 includes up to 3 Free Agents with a contract determined by the prior season's #IP/10 for P, #AB/25 for H, with all rounding up). In addition to this 7 keepers, teams may keep up to an additional 3 minor league keepers who are on contracts and have no MLB ABs, plate appearances, or IPs (true minor leaguers). This means that a total of 10 keepers are possible.

DETERMINING PRICE: Commissioner will send a PDF of last season's draft values. The keeper-eligible price is in the second column from the left entitled "Player Salary." If the Player Salary is blank, that means the player was a added as a FA, in which case the FA rules apply to determine the player's contract.

MINOR LEAGUE KEEPERS: Up to 3 minor leaguers may be kept as additional keepers, in addition to the standard 7 MLB keepers, provided that they have not had any MLB ABs, IPs, pitching appearances, or plate appearances (true minor leaguers). If they have any of these, they may kept under the standard 7 keeper rules.
