Playoffs: Given the parameters of what was voted on Six teams will make the playoffs while using two divisions. The division winners will get a bye. Moving on from there it makes the most sense to me to have the 2nd and 3rd place team in each division play each other. The winner of the first round would then play the division winner for a chance to go the Southern Money Fuckin Fantasy World Series. With that said the FREE fantasy yahoo league does not give that option out-right. However, I believe they give me the option to set the playoff schedule on the fly. If that is the case we should be fine. If not, I know they will give the bye to the division leaders and then probably set the games based on ranking. I don't THINK this will be a problem though.
Divisions:Yahoo randomly selected them. If you have complaints you can write them and tell them all about it. They seem okay though I guess. Not exactly thrilled with my division. Still stupid.
Schedule: I don't know what the fuck is going on with yahoo. They keep adding the scores of the two games in Australia and then taking them away. Our league settings are set for scoring to start week 1. It's very very difficult to individualize schedules. They should have an option to play teams within division three times instead of two while playing teams outside only once. They don't. Yahoo should take a look at it. Instead each team plays every team in the league twice.
League Dues: Six people have paid. Ben, Jed, Tony, Russ, Charles, and myself. Much respect to those of you who do not give me the fun little hobby of hassling assholes for league dues. Please send $50 to joshtaylor56@gmail.com via paypal.com. This is not a "pay at the end" fantasy league.
If anyone has any thoughts on any of this feel free to chime in. Maybe I am missing something. Didn't get much feedback on the previous decisions despite all the pissing and moaning from last year for a "democracy". Interesting how most of the "libs" in the league have paid their dues already compared to the more conservative owners.
