      Matt Chapman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in a loss to the Pirates on Tuesday.

      Advice: Chapman had three of the four hardest-hit balls on the Giants during the game. He had a 113.1 mph groundout, a 106.4 mph double, and a 104.8 mph home run that traveled 414 feet. He also added another 103.2 mph groundout, so it’s safe to say he was seeing the ball pretty well on Tuesday. The veteran is now 19-for-68 (.279) with two home runs, 15 runs scored, and eight RBI during May. He continues to hit cleanup for the Giants every game and is an underrated fantasy option.       Alvarado earned the save in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Rangers, allowing one hit while striking out two in a scoreless ninth inning.

      Advice: The Rangers got the tying run to the plate with one out in the ninth after an error and a Leody Taveras base hit. However, Alvarado would proceed to strike out Marcus Semien and Corey Seager, picking up his ninth save in a 5-2 win. While the Phillies have utilized a modified committee approach to the ninth inning, the left-handed Alvarado has established himself as their preferred closing option.       Suarez (9-0) earned the win Tuesday over the Rangers, allowing one run on five hits and two walks while striking out 10 over seven innings.

      Advice: Suarez was stellar again Tuesday, holding Texas to a lone run on a Marcus Semien double in the third inning while recording a season-high 10 strikeouts. The 28-year-old southpaw has been a revelation for the Phillies this season -- his ERA is down to a sparkling 1.36 with a 0.79 WHIP and 49:9 K:BB while earning a league-most nine wins across 10 starts (66 innings).     • José Alvarado closes out win for Phillies
      José Alvarado pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn a save in the Phillies’ 5-2 win over the Rangers.

      Advice: Alvarado did allow a hit, but he also struck out two and was in no real danger in the inning as he picked up his ninth save of the year. Despite it seeming like the Phillies would go to a closer-by-committee situation earlier in the year, Alvarado has recorded four of the team’s six saves during the month and has now allowed eight hits while striking out six and walking none in 8 2/3 innings.     • Ranger Suárez strikes out 10 in win over TEX
      Ranger Suárez allowed one run on five hits in seven innings in a win over the Rangers, striking out 10 and walking just two.

      Advice: He just keeps doing it. Suárez now has a 1.36 ERA on the season to go along with a 9-0 record. He posted just an 18 percent whiff rate on Tuesday but did have a solid 27 percent CSW and he pounded the zone with his sinker and four-seam. No pitch besides the four-seam or sinker had a zone rate over 33 percent, but it didn’t seem to matter on the night. It’s hard to imagine Suárez keeping this up, and his start this weekend in Colorado is certainly risky, but you can’t bench the left-hander while he’s pitching like this.     • Andrew Abbott throws seven shutout in win
      Andrew Abbott threw seven shutout innings in a win over the Padres on Tuesday, allowing just four hits.

      Advice: Abbott struck out two and walked one. He now has a 2.68 ERA on the year, but he continues to struggle to miss bats. He’s struck out 43 hitters in 57 innings this year and has a swinging strike rate under eight percent. Tonight, he had eight whiffs on 45 swings with a 23 percent CSW. You can keep running Abbott out there in fantasy while he’s pitching well, but he seems like a prime sell-high candidate right now and a really risky start against the Dodgers this weekend.       Abbott (3-4) earned the win Tuesday over the Padres, allowing four hits and one walk over seven scoreless innings. He struck out two.

      Advice: Abbott's now gone seven innings in consecutive outings, allowing just one run on eight hits in that span. The southpaw has quietly put together a strong start to the season -- his ERA is down to 2.68 with a 1.09 WHIP and 43:15 K:BB across 10 starts (57 innings).       Eloy Jiménez was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jays with a left hamstring strain.

      Advice: Not good. Jiménez is currently in the midst of an extended offensive slump and will almost certainly wind up requiring a trip to the injured list. The oft-injured 27-year-old outfielder simply hasn’t been able to stay on the field the last few years, which diminishes his appeal for fantasy managers, despite his immense talent.       Jimenez was removed from Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays with a left hamstring strain.

      Advice: Jimenez appeared to be limping after scoring from second base during the fifth inning of Tuesday's contest, and Gavin Sheets later replaced him as Chicago's DH during the seventh.
