    • Pete Alonso paces Mets with five RBI
      Pete Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in the Mets’ 11-6 win over the Padres on Sunday.

      Advice: Alonso needed a game like this after a rough few weeks. The five RBI matched his total for the entire month of June entering play Sunday and ninth time in his career he’s driven in at least five runs in a single game. The Mets seem to finally be comfortable with their new lineup configuration with Alonso hitting clean-up behind Francisco Lindor, Brandon Nimmo, and J.D.     • Finnegan picks up 20th save Sunday
      Kyle Finnegan threw a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Marlins on Sunday.



      Advice: The save was Finnegan’s 20th of the season. He’s only blown two save opportunities so far this season and lowered his ERA to 1.78. Finnegan has come out of nowhere to be one of the best closers in fantasy this year.

    • Shelved with ankle sprain
      The Giants placed Harrison on the 15-day injured list Sunday with a right ankle sprain.

      Advice: Harrison had been scheduled to start Sunday's game against the Angels, but his ankle injury will prompt the Giants to go with an impromptu bullpen day for the series finale, with left-hander Erik Miller serving as the team's opening pitcher. The severity of Harrison's ankle sprain isn't clear, but he'll be eligible to return from the IL as soon as June 28. After getting off to a rough start to the season through his first five outings, Harrison had rebounded with a 2-2 record, 3.40 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 44:17 K:BB in 50.1 innings across his subsequent nine starts.       Giants placed LHP Kyle Harrison on the 15-day injured list with a right ankle sprain.

      Advice: Harrison was set to start Sunday against the Angels, but the sprained ankle will cause him to miss that start and likely a couple more turns through the rotation. Erik Miller is going to start in place of Harrison on Sunday, and Spencer Bivens had his contract selected from Sacramento to replace the southpaw on the active roster.       Advice: Martinez reached in all five of his plate appearances and registered his first multi-homer game of the season. The veteran slugger has gone deep three times in his past three games and has at least one RBI in six of his past seven contests.       J.D. Martinez went 3-for-3 with two home runs and three RBI in a 5-1 win over the Padres on Saturday.

      Advice: Martinez hit his first home run 391 feet off of Jhony Brito in the fourth inning and then followed that up with a 382-foot shot in the seventh. He now has eight home runs and 26 RBI in 43 games for the Mets so far this season.       Brandon Nimmo went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI in a win over the Padres.

      Advice: Nimmo got the scoring going with an RBI double in the fourth inning and then tacked on an extra run with an RBI single in the eighth.       Springer went 1-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and an RBI in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Guardians.

      Advice: It's the first time since May 29 that Springer has scored multiple runs. Consistent success at the plate continues to elude the veteran outfielder -- he's batting just .156 (7-for-45) in June with one homer, one steal, three RBI and six runs over 13 games.
