      Robert (hip) is still awaiting his first action at the team's complex in Glendale, Ariz., Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. "We anticipate some game action later this week,'' general manager Chris Getz said. "He seems to have turned the corner and is trending well."

      Advice: There was some hope that Robert would get into games in Arizona last week, but the White Sox decided not to push it. Robert missed more than three months with a similar injury in 2021, so it makes sense that the organization would take a cautious approach.       Advice: Manaea allowed three or fewer runs for his sixth straight appearance, but he did yield his second homer of the campaign when Dane Myers hit a two-run blast in the second inning. Although Manaea hasn't gone deeper than six innings this year, he owns a solid 3.11 ERA with 41 strikeouts across 46.1 innings. He's on track for a home start against the Giants next Sunday.       Williams didn't factor into the decision Sunday, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk over 4.1 innings against Philadelphia. He struck out three.

      Advice: Williams was pulled at 97 pitches midway through the fourth but was able to keep one of baseball's best offenses in check. He yielded just one extra-base hit and the final run charged against him came after his departure, when Jacob Barnes allowed a walk, a single and a sacrifice fly to the first three batters he faced. After posting a 5.55 ERA last season, Williams boasts a 2.35 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP across 46.0 innings with a 4-0 record. Williams will eventually start giving up homers again.
