    • Nearing game action
Robert (hip) is still awaiting his first action at the team's complex in Glendale, Ariz., Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. "We anticipate some game action later this week,'' general manager Chris Getz said. "He seems to have turned the corner and is trending well."

Advice: There was some hope that Robert would get into games in Arizona last week, but the White Sox decided not to push it. Robert missed more than three months with a similar injury in 2021, so it makes sense that the organization would take a cautious approach. While he remains without a definitive timetable to return to the majors, Robert seems to be progressing well, if at a deliberate pace. Rotowire.com 10 minutes ago

    • Picks up win
Manaea (3-1) earned the win Sunday against Miami, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk over five innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Manaea allowed three or fewer runs for his sixth straight appearance, but he did yield his second homer of the campaign when Dane Myers hit a two-run blast in the second inning. Although Manaea hasn't gone deeper than six innings this year, he owns a solid 3.11 ERA with 41 strikeouts across 46.1 innings. He's on track for a home start against the Giants next Sunday. • Inefficient against Phillies
Williams didn't factor into the decision Sunday, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk over 4.1 innings against Philadelphia. He struck out three.

Advice: Williams was pulled at 97 pitches midway through the fourth but was able to keep one of baseball's best offenses in check. He yielded just one extra-base hit and the final run charged against him came after his departure, when Jacob Barnes allowed a walk, a single and a sacrifice fly to the first three batters he faced. After posting a 5.55 ERA last season, Williams boasts a 2.35 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP across 46.0 innings with a 4-0 record. He's scheduled to face the Mariners during a three-game home series next weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:32 pm
    • Ohtani has game-winning single on Sunday
Shohei Ohtani went 2-for-4 with the game-winning RBI in a 3-2 win over the Reds in 10 innings on Sunday.

Advice: With the game tied in the 10th, Ohtani laced a 100.3 mph single off of Alexis Diaz to score Jason Heyward and give the Dodgers the win. It was Ohtani’s 33rd RBI of the season to go along with a stellar .353/.423/.658 triple slash. He was likely underdrafted in fantasy leagues because he was listed at just UTIL in most formats. • Trevor Williams gives up three runs to Phillies
Trevor Williams yielded three runs in 4 1/3 innings Sunday in a no-decision against the Phillies.

Advice: Williams still hasn’t given up more than three runs in a game this season, though the quick hooks help there; he’s gotten a total of five outs beyond the fifth inning in his nine starts. Williams will eventually start giving up homers again. He topped the NL in allowing 15 in 55 innings in 2020 and 34 in 144 innings last season, yet he’s somehow gave up only one in 46 innings this year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:20 pm
    • Sean Manaea wins, strikes out four
Sean Manaea allowed two earned runs across five innings on Sunday. He struck out four, walked one, and got the win.

Advice: This was a very Manaea start, going five frames, missing bats, and limiting damage. He’s been very solid this season with a 3.11 ERA and three wins in nine starts. Walks have been an issue for him, but not on Sunday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:02 pm

    • Cole Irvin gets hold in first relief appearance
Cole Irvin worked two scoreless innings for a hold Sunday in his first relief appearance of the season.

Advice: The Orioles are probably going to use a six-man rotation for most of the next month, so Irvin could be back in the mix next time through. It’s pretty fortunate for the Orioles that they can view him as their sixth starter in spite of his 4-1 record and 2.90 ERA in seven starts. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:54 pm

    • Justin Turner not in starting lineup Sunday
Justin Turner is out of the starting lineup against the Rays on Sunday.

Advice: Turner will take a seat for the finale against the Rays with Daniel Vogelbach lined up as the designated hitter and hitting fifth. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:02 am

    • Out of Sunday's lineup
Turner is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Advice: Turner was back in the starting nine for the past two games after missing three contests with an illness, and he'll take a seat for Sunday's series finale. Daniel Vogelbach will step in as Toronto's designated hitter. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:52 am
