Elder (1-2) took the loss Sunday against the Padres, allowing seven runs (six earned) on nine hits and three walks while striking out three over three innings.

Advice: The Padres put up a quick three runs on Elder in the first inning, all with two outs, highlighted by a two-run blast by Jake Cronenworth. Elder held them scoreless for the next two frames but ran into more issues in the fourth, allowing four straight hits and three more runs to begin the inning before he got pulled. Sunday was the second time in his last three starts he's failed to reach four innings, both of which he's given up seven runs and walked at least three batters. For the year, Elder owns a troublesome 6.46 ERA, 1.94 WHIP and 19:11 K:BB in 23.2 innings and currently lines up to face the Pirates his next time on the mound. Rotowire.com Today, 3:19 am
    • Picks up fourth steal
Reynolds went 1-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and one run scored in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Reynolds has swiped two bags over his last three games, and he's hit safely in five straight contests (6-for-21). The outfielder isn't one to run a lot -- he had a career-high 12 steals in 145 games last season, so he's roughly on track to match that number in 2024 after picking up his fourth theft of the campaign Sunday. Reynolds has added a .254/.341/.407 slash line with five home runs, 20 RBI, 18 runs scored, 12 doubles and a triple through 48 contests overall. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:27 pm
    • Homers in fifth straight game
Devers went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and two runs scored Sunday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Devers' sixth-inning blast gives him nine on the season and marked his fifth consecutive game with a home run, tying a Red Sox record in the process. After a slow start to the season, Devers has caught fire lately, hitting safely in 21 of his last 23 games while batting .337 with seven homers, 16 RBI and 17 runs scored. • Earns fifth win
Keller (5-3) allowed two runs on two hits and three walks while striking out three over six innings to earn the win Sunday over the Cubs.

Advice: It wasn't as dominant an outing as his six scoreless innings versus the Brewers on Monday, but it was still Keller's third straight quality start. He's allowed three runs over 21 innings across three starts in May. The strong pitching has him down to a 3.84 ERA with a 1.28 WHIP and 54:19 K:BB through 61 innings over 10 starts this season. Keller is projected for a tough home start versus Atlanta in his next outing. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:18 pm
    • Bryce Elder knocked around in loss to Padres
Bryce Elder was knocked around in Sunday night’s loss to the Padres, giving up seven runs (six earned) on nine hits over his three-plus innings of work.

Advice: The 25-year-old right-hander also issued three walks on the night while punching out three. After getting the first two outs in the opening inning, the Padres struck for three runs with two outs, including a two-run blast by Jake Cronenworth. Elder seemed to settle in a bit after that, but allowed four straight hits to start the fourth inning before turning the ball over to the bullpen. He got just eight swings and misses on 93 pitches on the night — six on his slider — while posting a CSW of 23 percent. He’ll carry a troublesome 6.46 ERA and 1.94 WHIP into Friday’s start against the Pirates in Pittsburgh. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:04 pm
    • Rengifo has triple and RBI vs Rangers
Luis Rengifo went 1-for-3 with a walk, a triple, and an RBI in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: Rengifo returned this weekend after being on the IL with an illness and was right back to the top of the batting order, which is good news for his fantasy value. His RBI triple in the seventh inning helped to pad the lead and his walk earlier in the game set him up for a stolen base attempt. While he was thrown out, the fact that he continues to lead off and run makes him a solid bet in most fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:38 pm

    • Mitch Keller posts quality start in win over Cubs
Mitch Keller posted a quality start in Sunday’s victory over the Cubs, allowing two runs on just two hits over six frames.

Advice: The right-hander walked three and struck out three batters on the afternoon. All of the damage one against him came on sacrifice flies — one by Seiya Suzuki in the third inning and another off the bat of Christopher Morel in the sixth. Keller got 10 swings and misses on 83 pitches on the afternoon — seven of those on his heater — while registering a CSW of 30 percent. Now 5-3 on the season, he’ll tote a 3.84 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and a 54/19 K/BB ratio (61 innings) into Saturday’s tough matchup against the Braves. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:07 pm
    • Rafael Devers homers in fifth straight game
Rafael Devers homered in a fifth straight game Sunday against the Cardinals.

Advice: He took Ryan Fernandez deep in the sixth inning today. Devers had four homers in 31 games this season before this stretch. He’s also now working on a nine-game hitting streak, though he’s totaled just 11 hits in that span. His average is actually lower now (.285) than it was two weeks ago. His .555 slugging percentage is vastly improved, though. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:28 pm
    • Sitting Sunday
Doyle is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants, Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazettereports.

Advice: Doyle has a .962 OPS in his past 10 games but will take a seat Sunday after making 23 straight starts. Jordan Beck will man center field and bat seventh in the series finale at San Francisco. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:42 am
