    • Rebounds with win, quality start
Morton (4-3) earned the win over Tampa Bay on Saturday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks while striking out eight batters over six innings.

Advice: Morton had his swing-and-miss stuff working, racking up 22 whiffs among his 105 pitches. The veteran hurler fell behind by a run in the first inning but yielded only two hits while holding the Rays scoreless thereafter. This was a nice bounce-back for Morton after he surrendered five runs (four earned) over five innings against Washington in his previous start. Saturday's victory was his first since May 10, and it was just his second quality start across six outings during that span. Rotowire.com 50 minutes ago

    • Jared Jones allows six runs in loss to Rockies
Jared Jones allowed six runs over his 4 2/3 innings while picking up a loss to the Rockies on Saturday.

Advice: Jones was not great, and the Pittsburgh bullpen allowed 10 more runs to score in a 16-4 blowout loss to the Rockies. The right-hander gave up six hits, and he also walked four on a night where the command just wasn’t there for the 22-year-old. He still was able to strike out six, and his rookie campaign has certainly been a success even with a couple of so-so outings as of late. He’ll take a 3.76 ERA into next weekend’s scheduled start vs. the Rays. Rotoworld Today, 8:56 pm

    • Charlie Morton has vintage performance in win
Charlie Morton allowed one run on three hits in six innings in a win over the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: Morton looked like his old self, striking out eight and walking two. He induced 22 whiffs on 49 swings for a ridiculous 45 percent whiff rate and 35 percent CSW. It was perhaps the 40-year-old’s best start of the season, and he’ll look to keep it going next week in a tough showdown against the Yankees. Rotoworld Today, 7:02 pm

    • Homers again in win
Thomas went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in a 4-0 win over the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Thomas doubled and scored a run in the first inning then added a solo home run in the third. The home run was Thomas' second in as many days, and he now has a nine-game hit streak dating back to June 6. Since returning from a knee injury on May 27, Thomas is hitting .301 with four home runs and five stolen bases in 73 at-bats. Rotowire.com Today, 6:35 pm

    • Three more hits Saturday
Kwan went 3-for-4 in Saturday's 5-0 loss to the Blue Jays.

Advice: The Guardians only managed eight hits in total on the day, all singles, but Kwan still kept rolling from the leadoff spot. The 26-year-old has hit safely in 10 straight games since returning from a hamstring injury, batting an incredible .500 (19-for-38) over that stretch to push his slash line on the season to .386/.447/.538 with four homers, three steals, 16 RBI and 39 runs in 42 contests. • Not close to returning
Muncy (oblique) is at least a week away from swinging a bat and doesn't have a timeline for return, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: Muncy's recovery from a right oblique strain has been unexpectedly slow, and he doesn't seem particularly close to returning. The 33-year-old hasn't swung a bat in a few weeks and won't be cleared for swings for at least another week, all but ruling out a June return. Recently acquired Cavan Biggio and Enrique Hernandez should handle most of the work at third base until Muncy returns. Rotowire.com Today, 3:45 pm

    • Lane Thomas goes yard in win over Marlins
Lane Thomas went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two runs scored against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Thomas doubled in the first inning and scored on a sacrifice fly by Joey Meneses to put the Nationals on the board. He then launched a solo homer in the third, his second straight day going yard. The 28-year-old outfielder is hitting .238/.300/.388 with six homers, 22 RBI, and 16 steals across 180 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 3:20 pm

    • Steven Kwan collects three hits in loss to Jays
Steven Kwan went 3-for-4 against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Kwan collected three hits on the day against the Blue Jays, knocking singles in the third, fifth, and eighth inning. He was stranded each time as the Guardians failed to bring a run in to score against Toronto. The 26-year-old outfielder has been a hitting machine, slashing .386/.447/.538 with four homers, 39 runs scored, and three steals across 191 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 2:38 pm

    • Twins-Athletics game postponed
Ober and the Twins won't play Saturday against the Athletics after the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Ober will now have his start pushed back a day after Saturday's contest was rained out. He'll toe the rubber for one of the games during the team's Father's Day split doubleheader with Oakland on Sunday. Rotowire.com Today, 11:01 am
