    • Riley Greene plates three in loss to Nationals
Riley Greene went 1-for-5 with three RBI on Tuesday in the Tigers’ extra-inning loss to the Nationals.

Advice: Greene put the Tigers ahead in the fifth inning with a bases-clearing triple to right field and wound up scoring on the play thanks to a throwing error from Nationals second baseman Luis Garcia Jr. It wound up being his lone hit in five at-bats of an eventual extra-inning loss for Detroit. • Juan Soto back in right field Tuesday vs. Royals
Juan Soto is back in right field for Tuesday’s game against the Royals.

Advice: Soto is back patrolling right field for the first time since leaving last Thursday’s game against the Twins with left forearm discomfort. Clearly, the Yankees aren’t too concerned about the issue moving forward if he’s already back out there in the outfield after missing just a handful of contests to undergo further testing. • Returns to lineup at DH
Soto (forearm) will start at designated hitter and bat second Monday in Kansas City, Brendan Kuty of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Soto missed the previous three contests with left forearm inflammation but is feeling well enough to return to action for the start of the Yankees' series against the Royals. He will be eased into action at DH, and it's possible the team will keep him there for a bit in order to protect his forearm. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:19 pm

    • Juan Soto (forearm) returns to lineup as DH
Juan Soto is in the lineup as a designated hitter Monday after missing three games due to forearm inflammation.

Advice: It’s Soto’s first time DHing this season; he had been in right field in all 64 of his starts for the Yankees. Rotoworld Monday, 3:12 pm

    • Not an option Sunday
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said after Sunday's 6-4 win over the Dodgers that Soto (forearm) "probably" wasn't available off the bench, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Advice: Soto went through his normal pregame routine in the hopes of entering Sunday's game as a pinch hitter. Though Boone said that Soto responded well to the pregame workout, the Yankees still opted to err on the side of caution and keep the star outfielder on the bench throughout the night. Soto's status for Monday's series opener versus the Royals thus remains murky after he missed the entirety of the three-game series with the Dodgers due to forearm soreness. • Picks up steal in win
Mullins went 2-for-4 with a triple, a stolen base and one run scored in Sunday's 9-2 win over the Rays.

Advice: Mullins entered Sunday 0-for-22 over his last eight games. He was able to break the drought with a fifth-inning single before adding a leadoff triple in the seventh. The outfielder has two steals over his last four contests even amid his deep slump. Mullins is slashing just .178/.227/.317 with 13 steals, six home runs, 22 RBI and 25 runs scored over 194 plate appearances this season. He's picked up extra work while Austin Hays (ribs) has been limited to a bench role, but Mullins is likely to see a smaller role once the Orioles' outfield is back to full health. • Smacks two doubles
Greene went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, one run scored and one RBI in Sunday's win versus Milwaukee.

Advice: Greene broke out of a 2-for-19 slump Sunday, hitting two doubles to raise his season total to 14. The 23-year-old has shown improved power this season, matching last season's total of 11 home runs in 149 fewer plate appearances. On the season, the left fielder is slashing .243/.342/.451 with 11 home runs, 25 RBI and 43 runs scored over 272 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Sunday, 4:19 pm
    • Mullins has two hits, stolen base in win
Cedric Mullins went 2-for-4 with a triple and a steal in a win over the Rays on Sunday.

Advice: These were the first hits Mullins has had in June, now going 2-for-18 on the month. He does have 13 steals on the season now, so his speed remains fantasy-relevant. He has started the last three games for the Orioles as Austin Hays battles an injury, but Mullins has just four games during the week as Colton Cowser has been getting a chance to play center field more often. Mullins isn’t bringing much to the table aside from speed and with his playing time now coming into question, it’s hard to see holding onto him outside of the deepest formats. • Could come off bench Sunday
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that Soto (forearm) will go through his normal pregame routine and may be available off the bench Sunday against the Dodgers, Jorge Castillo of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: Boone also indicated that Soto should rejoin the lineup during the four-game series in Kansas City that begins Monday, as the outfielder appears to be progressing well in his recovery from forearm inflammation. It remains to be seen if the 25-year-old will be back in action Monday against the Royals, but it appears his absence won't extend too much longer. Rotowire.com Sunday, 1:21 pm
