    • Houck allows two earned runs as Red Sox top Jays
Tanner Houck allowed two earned runs over 5 2/3 innings in Tuesday’s win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Houck gave up two runs in the second after Ernie Clement laced a double to right to give the Blue Jays their first runs of the night. He would be pulled in the sixth after an RBI single by Isiah Kiner-Falefa, but things could’ve been much worse for Houck, who allowed nine baserunners on the evening while throwing 103 pitches. He’s allowed three earned runs or less in 14 of his 15 starts on the season and is scheduled to face the Jays in his next start, which comes on Monday. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:32 pm
    • Starting rehab assignment Wednesday
Cabrera (shoulder) is scheduled to make a rehab start for Triple-A Jacksonville on Wednesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The Marlins have signed off on Cabrera advancing the final phase of his rehab program from a right shoulder impingement after he came out of a live bullpen session Monday without issue. According to De Nicola, the Marlins are targeting Cabrera for three innings or 50 pitches Wednesday, so he'll likely require an additional rehab outing beyond that to get fully stretched out for a typical starter's workload. • Dominates against Atlanta
Olson allowed four hits over six shutout innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out eight during the loss to Atlanta.

Advice: Olson spread four hits across a quality start and never faced much of a threat. It was a much-needed rebound performance after he'd gone 0-3 with a brutal 10.43 ERA over his previous three starts. He generated 16 whiffs Monday, including seven via the changeup. It was his highest total since forcing a season-high 17 on April 15. Olson is now sporting a 3.39 ERA with a 69:23 K:BB through 77 innings. His next start is projected to be at home against the White Sox. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:11 pm

    • Olson strikes out eight in no-decision Monday
Reese Olson threw six shutout innings and got a no-decision against the Braves on Monday.

Advice: Olson gave up four hits, walked none and struck out eight. It was a necessary bounce back start for Olson, who had allowed 17 earned runs over his last three starts (10.43 ERA). He left the game with a 1-0 lead, but the Tigers bullpen couldn’t hold it for him. Olson has won one game all year despite a 3.39 ERA in 14 starts. The 24-year-old right-hander is set to face the White Sox at home this weekend.

    • Picks up fourth win
Sanchez (4-3) went seven innings and allowed two runs (one earned) to earn the win Monday against the Padres. He gave up six hits, one walk, and struck out five.

Advice: Sanchez was impressive Monday against San Diego, as he allowed only one extra-base hit. It was the eighth start this season in which he's allowed one earned run or fewer. The lefty matched his season high for innings pitched and lowered his ERA to 2.91 in the process. The 27-year-old is tentatively scheduled to pitch again this weekend versus the Diamondbacks. • Cristopher Sánchez goes seven in win over Padres
Cristopher Sánchez was charged with two runs (one earned) over seven innings on Monday in a win over the Padres.

Advice: Sánchez limited San Diego to just six hits over seven frames as their lone runs of the contest came on a fifth-inning ground out from Jake Cronenworth and a run-scoring double by Donovan Solano in the seventh inning. He struck out five and only issued one walk, getting plenty of run support from Philadelphia’s offense to cruise to his fourth win of the year. He’ll bring a strong 2.91 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 66/24 K/BB ratio across 77 1/3 innings (14 starts) into a home outing on Sunday against the Diamondbacks. Rotoworld Monday, 6:32 pm
    • Completes live bullpen session
Cabrera (shoulder) threw two innings and 35 pitches in a live bullpen session Friday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: The bullpen session was Cabrera's second of the week; he previously threw a 30-pitch up-and-down session Tuesday. Cabrera could take the next step forward this week by facing hitters in live batting practice before he heads out on a minor-league rehab assignment that will likely consist of one or two starts. He's been on the injured list since May 8 with a right shoulder impingement and isn't expected to rejoin the Miami rotation until late June or early July. Rotowire.com Monday, 12:05 pm

    • Earns 13th save
Megill allowed a hit and a walk over a scoreless inning Sunday, striking out one and earning a save over the Reds.

Advice: Megill ran into trouble and nearly blew the save, but Blake Perkins saved the day with a game-ending outfield assist. He's converted seven straight saves since blowing a chance against the Marlins on May 20 and is now 13 for 14 this season. Megill owns a 26:7 K:BB and a 2.14 ERA through 21 innings. • Posts season-high seven Ks
Eflin did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits and one walk over 5.2 innings against Atlanta. He struck out seven.

Advice: Eflin entered the sixth inning with a four-run lead, but after retiring the first two batters in the frame, he allowed four consecutive singles and was removed one out shy of completing six full innings. The seven strikeouts marked a season high for Eflin, who had failed to record more than three strikeouts during any of his previous five starts. He'll carry a 4.12 ERA and 1.17 WHIP into his next start, currently slated to take place over the weekend when the Rays travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Pirates. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:29 pm
