    • Earns 10th save
Megill earned a save against the Blue Jays on Monday, allowing one hit in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Entering with a 3-1 lead in the ninth inning, Megill allowed a two-out single to Spencer Horwitz but retired Vladimir Guerrero Jr. on the next pitch to secure his 10th save of the season. Megill has posted four straight scoreless appearances and is now 10-for-11 in save chances this season. He owns a 2.00 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 24:4 K:BB and should continue to be the primary closer in Milwaukee until Devin Williams (back) returns from the injured list. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:14 pm
    • Absent from lineup
Jansen is not in the lineup for Monday's game in Milwaukee.

Advice: It looks to be a routine day off for Jansen, who had started the last two and three of the previous four contests. Alejandro Kirk will do the catching for Jose Berrios on Monday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:36 pm

    • Josh Lowe on the bench vs RHP on Monday
Josh Lowe is not in the lineup for the Rays on Monday against the Orioles.

Advice: Since returning from the injured list, Lowe has started in three of five games for the Rays, but this is the first time he has sat against a right-handed pitcher. Perhaps the Rays are looking to limit his workload as he works back from injury or perhaps the Rays are going to platoon Lowe more going forward. It’s not time to panic but it’s a situation to monitor. For today, Richie Palacios will start in right field while Yandy Diaz DH’s and Amed Rosario plays third base. • Sitting out Monday
Lowe is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: Lowe has gone 1-for-11 with five strikeouts at the dish since returning from his second stint on the injured list, so he'll get a day off to regroup. Jose Siri will cover center field and Richie Palacios will man right field for Tampa Bay on Monday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:57 am

    • Tie-breaking hit in extras Sunday
Rodriguez went 2-for-5 with an RBI single, a double and a run in an extra-inning win over the Royals on Sunday.

Advice: Rodriguez followed up his sixth double of the season with a clutch single in the 10th, snapping a 3-3 tie by driving in Josh Rojas. Rodriguez still has plenty of ground to make up in terms of his power production, but he's now hit safely in 14 of the last 15 games while producing a .328 average and .881 OPS across 63 plate appearances. • Pops sixth homer
Crawford went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in an extra-inning win over the Royals on Sunday.

Advice: Crawford got the Mariners off on the right foot with his leadoff solo shot, his second in as many games. The veteran shortstop extended his hitting streak to six games in the process, making it arguably his best offensive stretch of a season that now sees him carrying a .226/.308/.396 slash line through 42 games. • Report: Yankees might eye lefty relievers
According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, it “would be ideal” for the Yankees to pursue a “wipeout lefty” before the trade deadline.

Advice: Rosenthal specifically mentions Marlins’ Tanner Scott or Andrew Nardi and acknowledges that “The acquisition cost for a pre-arbitration reliever such as Nardi...would be considerably higher.” He also mentions that the Yankees would be open to high-strikeout-rate right-handed relievers as well, but a lefty is an ideal fit. This, of course, highlights one of the threats to Tanner Scott’s fantasy value as he would almost certainly lose his closer role if he were traded to the Yankees. You’re unlikely to get much for Scott in a trade in fantasy leagues, but his time as a closer appears to be running out with the trade deadline looming. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:17 am

    • Performance picking up in June
Arozarena went 2-for-4 with an RBI on Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: Arozarena delivered an RBI single in the sixth inning and recorded his second multi-hit game in his last three starts. He's hit well across seven games in June, going 8-for-22 with an RBI and three runs scored. Arozarena still has a disappointing .614 OPS across 260 plate appearances, though he has still managed eight home runs and seven stolen bases across 63 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:22 am
    • Fires seven innings
Kirby allowed a run on five hits over seven innings in a no-decision Sunday. He struck out four during the win over the Royals.

Advice: The lone run to score on Kirby came via a sacrifice bunt in the fifth inning. After a shaky stretch in May, he's back to looking like his usual self recently; over his last three starts, Kirby has posted a 2.00 ERA and 21:1 K:BB. He was in line for the win after his seventh quality start of 2024 before the Royals tied up the game in the ninth inning. Kirby is now sporting a 3.81 ERA with a terrific 78:7 K:BB through 80.1 frames. His next start is lined up to be at home against the Rangers. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:32 pm
