• Heading to bench Wednesday
Turner is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.

Advice: Turner will head to the bench for the second time in the series, opening up the designated-hitter spot for Daniel Vogelbach in the finale. Though he's begun to heat up in June with a .400 on-base percentage and .407 slugging percentage, Turner is still maintaining a .676 OPS on the season, the worst mark of his career since he became an everyday player in the big leagues. • Homers as part of three hit night
Freeman went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and three runs scored in Tuesday's 15-2 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Freeman's big hit of the night came in the sixth when he went back-to-back with Shohei Ohtani as part of a four-homer inning for the Dodgers. Freeman now has multiple hits in four of nine games this month to go along with three home runs after he totaled just six homers through the end of May. His .401 on-base percentage currently ranks fifth in all of baseball, as he's slashing .297/.401/.498 with 30 extra-base hits, 41 RBI, 43 runs and a 39:49 BB:K in 299 plate appearances. • Receiving day off
Guerrero is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.

Advice: With Daniel Vogelbach serving as Toronto's designated hitter and with Spencer Horwitz getting the nod at first base, Guerrero will hit the bench for the first time all season in what appears to be routine maintenance. Guerrero went hitless in nine at-bats over his first two games of the series to bring his batting average down to .282 for the season. Rotowire.com 19 minutes ago
  • Nationals call up Lipscomb to replace Gallo
The Nationals recalled INF Trey Lipscomb from Triple-A Rochester.

Advice: Lipscomb will be called p to replace Joey Gallo, who injured his hamstring. This will be Lipscomb’s third stint with the Nationals this season. In 33 games, he had a .252 AVG and a .621 OPS but a solid 19.4 percent strikeout rate and 10 steals. His speed would give him some deep league value if he gets a chance to play regularly, but he can be left on the waiver wire in most league types. Rotoworld 31 minutes ago
  • Hitting well
Dubon went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two runs scored Tuesday against the Giants.

Advice: Dubon has started four straight games in left field and has started six of the team's last seven games in the absence of Kyle Tucker (leg). Dubon has hit well in that span, going 7-for-21 with one RBI and four runs scored with only a 9.1 percent strikeout rate. He'll likely return to a utility role once Tucker is activated, but he has the chance to produce in the short term. Rotowire.com 35 minutes ago

  • Passan: Dodgers acquire Biggio from Blue Jays
According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan, the Dodgers acquired INF/OF Cavan Biggio from the Blue Jays for minor league reliever Braydon Fisher.

Advice: The 29-year-old Biggio was waived by Toronto last week after hitting .200/.323/.291 with two home runs in 131 plate appearances in 2024. It was a disappointing start to the season after Biggio seemed to unlock something in the second half of last season when he hit .272/.404/.361 in 52 games. Over the last two seasons, Biggio has played every position in the field other than pitcher and catcher, so the Dodgers clearly see some value in his ability to move on all over and post near 80 percent contact rates. We’ll see if they can get a new level of production out of him, but he should remain on fantasy waiver wires for now. Rotoworld 43 minutes ago

  • Sitting versus lefty
Kirilloff is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rockies.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Kirilloff will begin the contest on the bench as the Rockies send southpaw Austin Gomber to the hill. The Twins will use Carlos Santana at first base in Kirilloff's stead. Rotowire.com Today, 6:59 am

  • Bound for big leagues
The Nationals plan to call up Lipscomb from Triple-A Rochester ahead of Wednesday's game in Detroit, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Advice: He'll likely join the 26-man active roster as a replacement for first baseman/outfielder Joey Gallo, who is expected to go on the 10-day injured list after straining his hamstring in Tuesday's 5-4 win. Between his previous two stints in the majors this season, Lipscomb slashed an underwhelming .252/.331/.290 over 121 plate appearances, though he contributed 10 stolen bases on 11 attempts. Lipscomb had served mostly as an everyday player at third base when he was up with the Nationals earlier this season, but he could be relegated to a short-side platoon role if Washington elects to have Joey Meneses replace Gallo as a regular in the lineup. • Another steal Tuesday
Marte went 0-for-2 with three walks and a stolen base in Tuesday's 9-4 win over the Angels.

Advice: Marte drew multiple walks for the first time this season and has now swiped a bag in back-to-back games, bringing him up to three steals on the year. He continues to have a sharp eye at the plate so far in June, as he's slashing .375/.512/.688 with three homers, six RBI, eight runs and an 8:7 BB:K in 41 plate appearances.
