    • Kyle Tucker homers twice to lead Astros
Kyle Tucker hit his 16th and 17th homers before scoring the winning run in the 10th as the Astros bested the Angels 6-5 on Tuesday.

Advice: Tucker’s homers couldn’t have been much different. The first was a 340-foot shot to the opposite field that would have a homer in Houston and nowhere else, according to Statcast. The second was a no-doubter that was pulled 407 feet to right. Tucker now leads the majors in homers by one over Gunnar Henderson. His 1.074 OPS puts him behind only Shohei Ohtani. • Luis Rengifo hits two-run homers against Astros
Luis Rengifo had a two-run homer and an RBI single versus the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: Rengifo definitely wasn’t Ron Washington’s favorite player at the beginning of the year, but he’s been one of the best Angels thus far, having hit .316/.366/.474 in 124 plate appearances. Statcast thinks he’s way overachieving, given that his exit velocity numbers are significantly worse than his career marks, but things will probably even out there somewhat; his .840 OPS won’t quite hold up, but his exit velocity numbers should get better. • Stuck with loss
Kikuchi (2-4) took the loss Tuesday against the White Sox, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and three walks across six innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Tuesday's performance marked Kikuchi's third quality start in his last four appearances. However, he owns a 0-2 record during that stretch as the Blue Jays have struggled offensively. The 33-year-old walked multiple batters for the first time since April 10 and was charged with two earned runs or fewer for the eighth time in 10 outings. On the year, Kikuchi owns a 2.64 ERA -- which would be a career-best tally -- with 61 strikeouts across 58.0 innings. He's tentatively scheduled to face the Tigers on Sunday. • Trevor Megill rebounds with save Tuesday vs. Fish
Trevor Megill fired a scoreless ninth inning on Tuesday against the Marlins to record his seventh save of the season.

Advice: Megill got the call to protect a two-run lead in the final frame and needed just 14 pitches (11 strikes) to slam the door. It was a much-needed bounce-back after suffering his first blown save of the season during Monday’s series opener at loan Depot park. The 30-year-old righty has converted seven of his eight save chances so far filling in for an injured Devin Williams. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:56 pm
    • Jon Gray exits Tuesday start with groin tightness
Jon Gray was removed from Tuesday’s start against the Phillies with right groin tightness.

Advice: That explains why Gray was finished after just 75 pitches (50 strikes) over five frames in an abbreviated outing. The 32-year-old righty was charged with two runs on four hits with four strikeouts and three walks. The severity of the injury is a bit murky at the moment, but there should be some clarity on his status at some point in the near future. It’s unclear whether he’ll be ready to make his next start on Sunday against the Twins. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:38 pm

    • Exits start with groin tightness
Manager Bruce Bochy said Tuesday that Gray was removed from his start against the Phillies due to right groin tightness, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Gray was able to get through five innings before exiting his start, allowing two earned runs on four hits and three walks while striking out four batters. Bochy didn't specify how severe Gray's injury is, so it remains unclear if the right-hander is at risk of missing his next start, which is tentatively scheduled for Sunday in Minnesota. • Kikuchi lacks run support in loss to White Sox
Yusei Kikuchi allowed two earned runs over six innings in the Blue Jays’ loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Kikuchi was fine for much of the evening but gave up a two-RBI single to Corey Julks in the fifth inning, which looked like a devastating blow to a Blue Jays offense that managed just two hits on the night. Kikuchi’s record sits at 2-3 on the year despite a solid 2.64 ERA. The Jays entered the day as one of the worst run-scoring offenses in the league, making wins hard to come by for Kikuchi, who has yet to earn a win in May despite allowing just six earned runs over 24 1/3 innings on the month. He’ll have one more chance to get a win in May when he makes the start against the Tigers on Sunday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:33 pm
    • Devers’ home run streak ends at six games
Rafael Devers went 1-for-3 with a run scored in Tuesday’s win over the Rays.

Advice: Devers’ home run streak officially ends at six games, but he did manage to push his hitting streak to 11 games in the 5-2 win over the Rays. Devers’ lone hit came in the second inning, as he later came around to score on a Vaughn Grissom single. Devers has totaled 13 hits in his last 44 at-bats and is batting .286 on the month. We’ll see if he can stay hot and get another home run streak going in his next outing. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:18 pm

    • Taking seat Tuesday
Wong is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rays, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Wong will get a day off Tuesday after starting four straight games for the BoSox. Reese McGuire will bat seventh and catch for Cooper Criswell. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:26 pm
