      Advice: Ward was struck in the head after a 93 mph fastball got away from reliever Shelby Miller. The outfielder looked to be OK after getting hit, with his removal from the contest potentially being a matter of precaution, according to Beacham. The 30-year-old missed the final three months of the 2023 campaign after being hit in the face by a pitch from Toronto starter Alek Manoah, making the situation Sunday particularly jarring.       Advice: Bohm raked in June with five home runs and 20 RBI in 24 games this month. However, Bohm was 1-for-16 over his previous four games and got back on track, blasting his 10th homer Sunday. The fifth-year breakout continues for Bohm, who now has 68 RBI this season, the third-most in MLB.       Suarez came away with a no-decision in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Marlins. He allowed six runs on nine hits and two walks.

      Advice: Suarez struggled mightily Sunday, allowing a season-high six runs. Suarez pitched into the fifth inning and did not record a single strikeout, the first time in his career he has had zero strikeouts in a start. He faced 26 batters today, making it the first time a Phillies pitcher has faced at least 26 batters in a game without recording a strikeout since 2017.       Advice: Witt Jr. scored the first run of the game on Salvador Perez’ force out in the first inning. In the fifth inning, he drove in a run with a triple and scored on an RBI single off the bat of Vinnie Pasquantino. Witt Jr. is hitting .312 with an .897 OPS and 54 RBI on the season.       Ranger Suárez allowed nine hits and six earned runs in just 4 2/3 innings on Sunday against the Marlins. He walked two and didn’t record a strike out.

      Advice: This was undoubtedly Suárez’s worst outing of the season. It was the first time in his career he didn’t strike out a batter out in a game he started as the Marlins were all over him. He especially struggled commanding his sinker and fell behind far more often than he has throughout his strong season. This game doesn’t change anything for Suárez going forward, but it stands as a worthy reminder that Suárez’s effectiveness is deeply rooted in command and a pitcher’s command can be wonky game to game.
