• Leody Taveras plays hero with pinch-hit home run
Leody Taveras went 1-for-1 with a go-ahead two-run homer in the Rangers’ 5-3 win over the Mets on Wednesday.

Advice: Taveras was given the night off Wednesday marred in a 3-for-53 slump since the start of June, but won the game for the Rangers with his home run. He’s still a regular in the lineup because of his defense despite a miserable season at the plate. Rotoworld 4 minutes ago

  • Homers, stays hot in win
Kwan went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 8-0 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Kwan got things going early, walking and scoring a run in the first inning then hitting a two-run homer in the second. He later added a single in the sixth. Kwan continues to rake since his return from a hamstring injury May 31, extending his hitting streak to 13 games with eight multi-hit efforts in that span. On the season, he is hitting a ridiculous .397 with five home runs, 20 RBI and 41 runs scored in 205 plate appearances. Rotowire.com 7 minutes ago

  • Jake Meyers doubles twice in win vs. White Sox
Jake Meyers went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored in the Astros 4-1 win over the White Sox on Wednesday.

Advice: Meyers doubled in the sixth and came around to score on a base hit by César Salazar. He then led off the eighth with another double before moving to third on a sacrifice bunt and scoring on a sacrifice fly by Chas McCormick. The 25-year-old outfielder is slashing .254/.312/.418 with six homers, 25 RBI, and six steals across 206 plate appearances. Rotoworld 13 minutes ago

  • Andrew Benintendi slugs solo homer in loss
Andrew Benintendi went 1-for-3 with a solo homer on Wednesday against the Astros.

Advice: Benintendi provided all the offense against the Astros on Wednesday, taking Hunter Brown deep for a solo homer in the fourth for Chicago’s only run of the game. The 29-year-old outfielder is up to five homers, surpassing his 2023 total, while slashing .203/.243/.307 with 19 RBI and two steals across 214 plate appearances. Rotoworld 14 minutes ago

  • Jarren Duran homers, steals two bags
Jarren Duran went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, and two stolen bases against the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Advice: Duran’s long ball gave the Red Sox a lead and they wouldn’t let go as he continued his do-it-all season in this one. He’s pacing for about 15 homers, 40 steals, 100 runs scored, and 70 RBI in what would be a phenomenal year for the young outfielder. Rotoworld 47 minutes ago

  • Garrett Mitchell to stay at Triple-A for now
Brewers’ manager Pat Murphy told reporters on Wednesday that the plan is to have Garrett Mitchell (finger) stay at Triple-A Nashville for the time being.

Advice: The 25-year-old outfielder is ready to be activated from the injured list from a health perspective, but there’s really no spot for him on the active roster at the moment. Eventually, when his rehab window expires, he’ll need to be activated and optioned to Triple-A, where he’ll continue to play every day until he’s needed at the big-league level. • Steven Kwan with two more hits, goes yard
Steven Kwan went 2-for-3 with a home run, walk, and two runs scored on Wednesday against the Mariners.

Advice: Kwan continues what’s been an all-time start to the season. His batting average ticked back up to an unthinkable .397 and the homer was his fifth of the season. For the “batting average doesn’t matter” folks, Kwan’s OPS sits at 1.010 through nearly 45 games. Few in the league are hitting better than him right now. Rotoworld Today, 6:09 pm

  • Goes deep in win
Happ went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-5 win over the Giants.

Advice: Happ has been on a heater recently, as he now has five straight two-hit performances. The outfielder has gone deep three times during the hot streak, giving him nine home runs for the season. Happ won't be able to stay this locked in forever, though fantasy managers should enjoy the production while it lasts. Rotowire.com Today, 5:24 pm

  • Goes deep in win
De La Cruz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-3 win over St. Louis.

Advice: De La Cruz led off the contest with a 429-foot solo shot off Matthew Liberatore. The 27-year-old outfielder has gone 4-for-14 with a pair of homers in his last three games -- De La Cruz is up to 13 long balls this year, putting him well on pace to surpass his career high of 19. Overall, he's slashing .245/.296/.424 with 34 RBI and 34 runs scored across 314 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Today, 4:43 pm
