    • Secures first career win
Miller (1-0) struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the win Friday over the Blue Jays.

Advice: The win was Miller's first in the majors, which came in his 32nd career appearance. He kept the game tied at 1-1 in the top of the ninth inning before JJ Bleday swatted a walk-off solo home run in the Athletics' half of the frame. While Miller's been scored on in three of his last six outings, he's still sporting a 2.20 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 54:11 K:BB through 28.2 innings this season. He's also gone 12-for-13 in save chances for a team that hasn't had a ton of leads to protect. Rotowire.com Today, 9:34 pm

    • Witt Jr. triples home tying run, scores winner
Bobby WItt Jr. went 3-for-5 with an RBI triple to help the Royals to a 10-9 win over the Mariners on Friday.

Advice: Superstar gonna superstar. With the Royals trailing 9-8, Witt Jr. spanked a triple down the left-field line to score the tying run, and he scored on a fielder’s choice to give Kansas City the win in a game they trailed 7-0 after the top half of the first inning. Witt Jr. has tripled seven time while driving in 47 runs, and remains as good — if not better — than any fantasy option at his or any other position. Rotoworld Today, 8:09 pm

    • Teoscar Hernández delivers in 11th in Dodgers’ win
Teoscar Hernández went 2-for-4 and doubled in two runs in the 11th to propel the Dodgers past the Yankees 2-1 on Friday.

Advice: It was a scoreless game until Hernández delivered the contest’s first big hit off Ian Hamilton in the 11th. It actually gave him his first multi-RBI game since May 14. He was often leading the league in RBI for the first month and a half, but he came into this one having driven in a total of three runs in last 20 games. Rotoworld Today, 7:55 pm
    • Sale strikes out 10 in loss to Nationals Friday
Chris Sale allowed two runs in seven innings and took the loss against the Nationals on Friday.

Advice: Sale gave up five hits, walked one and struck out 10. It was an impressive bounce back performance after he allowed eight runs in his last start. Sale has been tremendous at times this season. While he has a 3.01 ERA on the year, his xFIP is even better at 2.43. The 35-year-old left-hander is set to face the Orioles on the road next week. • Rebounds in losing effort
Sale (8-2) took the loss Friday against the Nationals, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out 10.

Advice: It was a strong bounce-back effort from Sale after he surrendered eight runs against Oakland in his last start. However, Atlanta couldn't get on the board until the eighth inning in an eventual 2-1 defeat. Sale now has eight or more strikeouts in six of his last seven outings. His ERA sits at 3.01 with a 0.94 WHIP and 92:11 K:BB across 12 starts (74.2 innings) this year. Sale's currently in line for a road matchup with the Orioles in his next outing. • Throwing off flat ground
Snell (groin) began throwing off flat ground Friday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Assuming Snell has no issues with flat-ground throwing, the plan is for him to begin mound work at some point next week. It's still unclear if the 31-year-old southpaw will be able to return from the IL when eligible June 18, but some clarity may come once he's thrown a few bullpen sessions. • Homers in three-hit game Thursday
Hernandez went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and three total runs scored in an 11-7 victory versus the Pirates on Thursday.

Advice: Hernandez broke a 4-4 tie with a solo blast in the fifth inning, and Los Angeles never trailed again. The long ball snapped a 10-game stretch without a homer for the veteran outfielder, and after a hot start to the season, he's gone deep just twice over his past 23 contests. However, Hernandez still ranks second on the Dodgers with 13 homers and 39 RBI overall. Rotowire.com Today, 10:38 am
    • Has positive follow-up exam
Encarnacion-Strand (wrist) had a follow-up exam with Reds doctors Wednesday, and he was cleared to take the next step in his rehab, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Advice: While that would seem to be good news for Encarnacion-Strand, who was diagnosed with a right ulnar styloid fracture May 8, he opted to get a second opinion, putting his rehab on hold for the moment. At the time of his diagnosis, Encarnacion-Strand was given a four-to-six week recovery timeline. Rotowire.com Today, 4:51 am
    • Two steals in win
Witt went 1-for-4 with a walk and two stolen bases in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Witt has gone 13-for-31 (.419) with 10 RBI and three steals during his seven-game hitting streak. While he didn't score Thursday, he was active on the basepaths for his third multi-steal game of the season. The shortstop is up to a .317/.371/.560 slash line with 19 thefts, 11 home runs, 46 RBI and 54 runs scored through 63 games this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:30 pm
