    • Four hits in walkoff win
Westburg went 4-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 5-4 extra-innings win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: His last hit was the biggest, as Westburg's single in the 11th inning brought home Colton Cowser as the phantom runner for the winning run. Westburg has hit safely in five straight games and 10 of the last 12, and on the season he's slashing .301/.345/.522 with six homers, five steals, 20 runs and 26 RBI in 36 contests. • Stumbles in second start
Means escaped with a no-decision in Saturday's 5-4 extra-innings win over the Diamondbacks, giving up four runs on six hits over 4.2 innings. He struck out three without walking a batter.

Advice: The southpaw got tagged for two runs in the third and fifth innings, but the Orioles scored in the eighth to tie up the game and take Means off the hook for his first loss before eventually walking it off in the 11th. He tossed 60 of 89 pitches for strikes, and he has a 3.09 ERA and 11:0 K:BB through his first 11.2 innings on the year. Means will look to sharpen things up on his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next weekend against the Mariners. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:56 pm
    • Nails down sixth save
Romano gave up a hit and struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning Saturday to record his sixth save of the season in a 10-8 win over the Twins.

Advice: The right-hander stayed perfect in save situations on the season, but Saturday's performance was only the fifth time in nine appearances that Romano has avoided getting tagged with a run. His 4.15 ERA and 1.38 WHIP are well below his usual standards, but his 8:2 K:BB through 8.2 innings isn't far from the mark, and his stuff appears to be fine -- he topped out at 99 mph with his fastball. • Collects sixth save
Jansen struck out two in a perfect inning Saturday to notch his sixth save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Nationals.

Advice: After the Red Sox broke a scoreless tie with two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, Jansen made quick work of the Nats in the top of the ninth with a groundout and a couple punchouts. The outing comes one day after Jansen was touched up for two runs in a non-save situation Friday. Jansen battled control issues early on in the season but has seemed to figure those out, putting up a 10:1 K:BB across his last six frames. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:38 pm
    • Ketel Marte hits two-run homer vs. Orioles
Ketel Marte hit a two-run homer against the Orioles on Saturday in an extra-innings loss.

Advice: Marte hit a two-run homer off John Means in the third. That’s the ninth homer of the season for the 30-year-old veteran, and he’s plated 21 runs over the first six weeks of the season. Marte has slowed down slightly, but a .294/.345/.550 slash is nothing to sneeze at. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:20 pm

    • Jordan Westburg hits walk-off single in 11th
Jordan Westburg hit a walk-off single while going 4-for-5 to give the Orioles to a 5-4 win over the Diamondbacks in the 11th inning Saturday.

Advice: Westburg singled home Colton Cowser to give Baltimore the victory. The infielder added two more singles and a double while increasing his average to .301 with an .867 OPS. If fantasy managers haven’t already, it’s time to take Westburg seriously. He can really hit. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:20 pm
    • John Means allows four over 4 2/3 against D-Backs
John Means allowed four runs over 4 2/3 innings Saturday against the Diamondbacks while not factoring into the decision.

Advice: Means was outstanding Saturday against the Reds. This outing would best be described as shaky at best. The left-hander gave up six hits, and he struck out three while not issuing a walk. The 31-year-old gave up a two-run homer to Ketel Marte in the third, and two more were charged to him after he exited with one out in the fifth. Means will try and bounce back Friday against the Mariners. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:20 pm
    • Kenley Jansen whiffs two while picking up save
Kenley Jansen struck out two while picking up a save against the Nationals on Saturday.

Advice: Jansen didn’t allow a hit and threw 12-of-16 pitches for strikes. The 36-year-old remains effective in the closing role, and he’s up to six saves while lowering his ERA to 1.86 on the 2024 campaign. Tough to complain about those results. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:28 pm
    • Jordan Romano collects sixth save with scoreless 9th
Jordan Romano struck out two without allowing a run to pick up a save Saturday against the Twins.

Advice: Romano did give up a double, but he was able to keep the Twins off the board while picking up his sixth save of 2024. That number is more impressive when you remember Romano missed time with injury to begin the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:20 pm
