    • Kyle Tucker (shin) might require rehab assignment
Astros manager Joe Espada told reporters Saturday that Kyle Tucker (shin) might require a minor league rehab assignment.

Advice: Espada elaborated that Tucker might need some rehab games to get back up to speed if he doesn’t resume running at some point this weekend. The 27-year-old fantasy superstar has been out since early June recovering from a right shin contusion and has yet to resume baseball activities. There should be a clearer picture of his potential return timeline at some point in the coming days. It certainly doesn’t sound like he’s close at this juncture. Rotoworld Today, 10:45 am

    • Sitting again versus lefty
Raley isn't in the Mariners' lineup for Friday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: With lefty starter Andrew Heaney set to toe the slab for Texas, the lefty-hitting Raley will take a seat on Seattle's bench. Victor Robles will fill the opening in left field while batting eighth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:49 pm

    • Still not doing on-field work
Tucker (lower leg) won't play in Saturday's game against Detroit and has yet to participate in on-field activities, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

Advice: There was initially optimism that Tucker would be able to return from the IL when first eligible Friday, but that doesn't seem imminent. The Astros could keep Tucker out through the weekend and activate him for a three-game road series against the White Sox that kicks off Tuesday if he shows some progress. • Up to 23 saves
Helsley worked around a pair of walks in the ninth inning to earn the save in Friday's 3-0 win over the Cubs. He struck out two.

Advice: After recording the first two outs in the ninth, Helsley issued consecutive walks to Seiya Suzuki and Ian Happ before striking out Nico Hoerner to earn his MLB-leading 23rd save of the year. Helsley hasn't blown a save since March 30, in his first appearance of the season. His ERA on the year is down to 2.61 with a 1.13 WHIP and 35:10 K:BB across 31 innings. • Kyle Tucker (shin) won’t be ready on Saturday
Astros’ manager Joe Espada told reporters on Friday that Kyle Tucker (shin) will not be ready to be activated from the injured list on Saturday.

Advice: While he noted that Tucker is “moving in the right direction” he also admitted that Tucker is not doing baseball activities yet. While a return at some point over the weekend hasn’t been ruled out yet, it seems unlikely if he’s not doing any baseball activities yet. A more likely scenario has the 27-year-old superstar outfielder returning to action next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:10 pm

    • Ryan Helsley picks up 23rd save with hitless ninth
Ryan Helsley notched his 23rd save Friday with a hitless ninth against the Cubs.

Advice: Helsley walked a pair of batters with two outs, drawing a visit from the pitching coach, but he then struck out Nico Hoerner to end the game. Since it was his third appearance in four days, he might be down tomorrow, potentially giving Andrew Kittredge a save chance. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:05 pm
    • Not in Friday's lineup
Bader is absent from the lineup for Friday's game against the Padres.

Advice: Bader will begin the contest on the bench as the Mets go up against knuckleballer Matt Waldron. Tyrone Taylor is handling center field. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:12 pm
    • Covers three frames in bulk relief
Yarbrough tossed three relief innings against Texas on Thursday, allowing one run on two hits and four walks while striking out three batters.

Advice: With Yoshinobu Yamamoto's scheduled start pushed back to Saturday, Los Angeles opted for a bullpen game in the finale of a three-game set against the Rangers. Michael Grove opened and took the loss after allowing two runs in one inning, before Yarbrough settled things down a bit despite issuing a season-high four free passes. Yarbrough has shifted between a starting role and a relief role throughout his career, but he's made all 19 of his appearances so far this year out of the bullpen. The southpaw has covered two or more innings in 11 of those outings, and overall he's posted a 3.11 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 22:16 K:BB over 46.1 frames. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:22 am

    • Good to go Friday
Arenado (hand) is starting at third base and batting cleanup Friday against the Cubs, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Advice: The 33-year-old had X-rays come back negative on his right hand after being hit by a pitch Thursday, and he's apparently fine given he's back in the lineup a day later. Arenado is 8-for-20 with two doubles and two RBI in his past five games, and he has a .273/.340/.386 slash line through 12 contests in June. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:33 am
