      Tuesday’s game between the Orioles and Cardinals was suspended due to rain with the score tied at 1-1 in the sixth inning.

      Advice: It’ll be picked back up at 11:15 a.m. CDT on Wednesday. Lance Lynn allowed only an unearned run over six innings before the game was delayed. He still could finish with the win if the Cardinals score in the bottom of the sixth and hold the lead from there. Otherwise, he’ll end up with his seventh no-decision in 10 starts this year.       Helsley walked one and struck out none over a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Monday's 6-3 win over the Orioles.

      Advice: Helsley hadn't pitched since last Tuesday, but he didn't show much rust. The closer is on a 10-inning scoreless streak, and he's earned seven saves and a win in that span. For the season, he's 14-for-15 in save chances with a 2-2 record, a 1.29 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 23:3 K:BB over 21 innings. Helsley's strong pitching has helped him go unquestioned as the Cardinals' closer this year, though the team's 21-26 record leaves some doubt about whether he can keep picking up saves at such a strong pace.       Gray (6-2) allowed three runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks while striking out six over 5.2 innings to earn the win Monday over the Orioles.

      Advice: Gray gave up a three-run blast to Gunnar Henderson in the sixth inning, but the Cardinals were able to maintain their lead after that. The long ball has become a problem for the veteran right-hander -- he's surrendered five homers while giving up 14 runs (12 earned) over his last 16.2 innings. He's still managed to win two of his three starts in that span. Gray is at a 2.87 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 59:10 K:BB through 47 innings across eight starts this season. He allowed all of eight homers in 32 starts last year, so it's worth keeping an eye on whether Gray can keep the ball down better moving forward.       Wacha (4-4) allowed two runs on six hits and a walk over seven innings Monday, striking out three and earning a win over Detroit.

      Advice: Wacha kept the Tigers off the board until Kerry Carpenter took him deep with a solo shot in the fourth inning. Colt Keith later added an RBI double in the seventh. Wacha has turned in three straight quality starts and has earned a win in each one. Before this hot streak, he went 0-4 with a 7.01 ERA over a five-start span.     • Helsley records 14th save Monday
      Ryan Helsley picked up his 14th save of the season against the Orioles on Monday.

      Advice: Helsley pitched another scoreless ninth inning, which was his 15th consecutive appearance without allowing an earned run. He walked Austin Hays with two outs before getting Cedric Mullens to fly out to end the game. Helsley last allowed an earned run on April 8th.     • Gray appears to ask out of game Monday
      Sonny Gray allowed one earned run, struck out six in 5 2/3 innings, picked up the win and appeared to ask Cardinals manager Oli Marmol to remove him from the game in the Cardinals’ 6-3 victory over the Orioles on Monday.

      Advice: We’ll have another update on Gray’s status when we know more. The win was Gray’s sixth of the season. He cruised through the first five innings. In the sixth inning, after two men reached on errors, he allowed a three-run home run to Gunnar Henderson. Four batters later, he appeared to ask out of the game and was removed for JoJo Romero, who escaped the jam. The 34-year-old right-hander is tentatively scheduled to face the Cubs at home on Saturday.

    • Wacha picks up fourth win Monday
      Michael Wacha allowed two runs in seven innings and picked up the win in the Royals’ 8-3 victory over the Tigers on Monday.



      Advice: The win was Wacha’s fourth of the season. He allowed six hits, a walk, and struck out three. The Tigers only runs against Wacha came on a Kerry Carpenter solo home run in the fourth inning and a Colt Keith RBI double in the seventh inning. Wacha’s ERA is now 4.45 on the season. So far he’s rewarded fantasy managers that picked him up for his two-start week. The 32-year-old right-hander is scheduled to face the Rays on the road this weekend.

    • Dominates Atlanta for win
      Darvish (4-1) got the win over Atlanta on Sunday night, throwing seven shutout innings while allowing just two hits and a walk. He struck out nine.

      Advice: Darvish continued his excellent run since returning from the injured list April 30 and is now up to 25 straight scoreless innings, having last given up a run April 14. He had one instance with facing runners in scoring position after a first inning double by Marcell Ozuna. He ended his night by retiring the last 13 batters he faced in order and generated a season-high nine strikeouts while getting 14 whiffs on 99 pitches. Darvish also picked up career win No. 200 and will take an excellent 2.08 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 46:13 K:BB into his next start, which lines up to be against the Yankees during a weekend series.       Keller (5-3) allowed two runs on two hits and three walks while striking out three over six innings to earn the win Sunday over the Cubs.

      Advice: It wasn't as dominant an outing as his six scoreless innings versus the Brewers on Monday, but it was still Keller's third straight quality start. He's allowed three runs over 21 innings across three starts in May. The strong pitching has him down to a 3.84 ERA with a 1.28 WHIP and 54:19 K:BB through 61 innings over 10 starts this season.
