    • Pitches well before weather delay
Lynn allowed one unearned run on two hits and struck out five without walking a batter over six innings versus the Orioles on Tuesday before the game was suspended due to inclement weather in the sixth inning.

Advice: The game will be completed prior to Wednesday's regularly-scheduled contest, though Lynn's involvement is almost certainly done. This was arguably his best outing of the season, and it's impressive he did it against an offense as strong as Baltimore. Through 51.1 innings over 10 starts, Lynn has a 3.68 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 48:20 K:BB. The veteran right-hander's next start is projected to be on the road versus the Reds. • Kyle Tucker homers twice to lead Astros
Kyle Tucker hit his 16th and 17th homers before scoring the winning run in the 10th as the Astros bested the Angels 6-5 on Tuesday.

Advice: Tucker’s homers couldn’t have been much different. The first was a 340-foot shot to the opposite field that would have a homer in Houston and nowhere else, according to Statcast. The second was a no-doubter that was pulled 407 feet to right. Tucker now leads the majors in homers by one over Gunnar Henderson. His 1.074 OPS puts him behind only Shohei Ohtani. • Orioles-Cardinals suspended, to resume Wednesday
Tuesday’s game between the Orioles and Cardinals was suspended due to rain with the score tied at 1-1 in the sixth inning.

Advice: It’ll be picked back up at 11:15 a.m. CDT on Wednesday. Lance Lynn allowed only an unearned run over six innings before the game was delayed. He still could finish with the win if the Cardinals score in the bottom of the sixth and hold the lead from there. Otherwise, he’ll end up with his seventh no-decision in 10 starts this year. • Luke Raley homers in win over Yankees
Luke Raley went 1-for-5 with a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Yankees.

Advice: Raley is now hitting .306 on the season and has four home runs and 12 RBI to his name in 38 games. The lefty is riding a hot hand at the moment and is currently sitting on an eight-game hitting streak. Raley has absolutely raked this month, going 21-for-53 (.396) with seven extra-base hits. He’ll cool off eventually, but he’s worth a start as long as the hot hitting continues. Rotoworld Today, 7:23 pm

    • Lars Nootbaar ejected from Tuesday’s game
Lars Nootbaar was ejected from Tuesday’s game against the Orioles for arguing balls and strikes.

Advice: Nootbaar didn’t agree with a called third strike in his first-inning at-bat and was tossed from the contest after returning to the dugout and continuing to voice his displeasure. Rotoworld Today, 5:00 pm

    • Adolis Garcia (forearm) out again Tuesday vs. PHI
Adolis Garcia is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Phillies.

Advice: There was some talk that Garcia could return Tuesday from his forearm injury, but he’ll be out at least one more game. Derek Hill — who was called up from Triple-A Round Rock prior to the game — will get the start in Garcia’s absence. He should be considered day-to-day at this stage. Rotoworld Today, 12:46 pm

    • Remaining on bench Tuesday
Garcia (forearm) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game at Philadelphia.

Advice: The 31-year-old was scratched from Sunday's lineup due to right forearm discomfort, but he was cleared of a serious injury when medical imaging came back clean. Garcia will still sit for the second straight game Tuesday, allowing Derek Hill, who had his contract selected from Triple-A Round Rock, to receive a start in right field. • Harrison Bader takes seat Tuesday vs. Guardians
Harrison Bader is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s tilt against the Guardians.

Advice: Bader will take a seat on the bench after going 1-for-3 with a double and two strikeouts Monday. The outfielder gets a break with Tyrone Taylor handling center field and hitting fifth. Rotoworld Today, 11:58 am

    • Idle Tuesday
Diaz is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: The 32-year-old will yield to Jonathan Aranda at first base Tuesday, giving Diaz his first day off after playing 10 straight games. During that stretch, Diaz is batting .341 with a pair of homers. Rotowire.com Today, 11:57 am
