      Matt Carpenter went 1-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and a solo home run against the Rockies on Saturday.

      Advice: It was a quiet afternoon for the Rays as they were shutout. Diaz had the only two hits for Tampa Bay. After wining the batting title in the American League last year, he’s hitting just .245 so far this season. Diaz’ .273 BABIP this year is well below his .320 career BABIP.     • Francisco Lindor reaches three times in London opener
      Francisco Lindor went 2-for-4 with a walk on Saturday in the Mets’ loss to the Phillies.

      Advice: Lindor was one of the few bright spots for the Mets during Saturday’s London Series opener as he wound up reaching base safely in ftrhee of his five plate appearances.       Keller (8-3) earned the win Friday over Minnesota, allowing seven hits and two walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out eight.

      Advice: It's the sixth straight win for Keller -- he hasn't allowed more than two earned runs in an outing during that span, pitching to a 1.13 ERA. The 28-year-old right-hander lowered his ERA to 3.16 on the season with a 1.24 WHIP and 74:22 K:BB across 13 starts (79.2 innings). The Cardinals closer has been stellar, suffering just one blown save in his 28 total appearances. This marks the fifth time the 37-year-old veteran has allowed four earned runs in an outing this year. His ERA now stands at 3.58 with a 1.38 WHIP in 65.1 innings.       Ryan Helsley converted a save while not allowing a run during Friday’s game against the Rockies.

      Advice: Helsley breezed through his inning with a pair of strikeouts and needed just 11 pitches to pick up his 21st save of the season.       Lance Lynn was charged for four runs in four innings in a no-decision Friday against the Rockies.

      Advice: All four runs came in the fourth inning, and all on the same play. With the bases loaded, Lynn allowed a three-run triple to Michael Toglia, and Toglia picked up a Little League grand slam as he scored on an error. Lynn struck out six and walked two in a mediocre — at best — effort Friday night. His next start comes Thursday against the Pirates, assuming the rotation order stays the same.       The Astros placed Tucker on the 10-day injured list Friday with a right shin contusion, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

      Advice: Tucker has been held out of action since he fouled a ball off his right shin during Monday's game against the Cardinals. Manager Joe Espada said Friday that Tucker is feeling much better since then, per Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle, though the outfielder's recovery has progressed much slower than the team initially expected.
