      Advice: Volpe led off the home half of the first inning with a single and came around to score the game’s first run on a ground ball off the bat of Aaron Judge. He also singled in the fifth inning and scored on Aaron Judge’s three-run triple. Volpe then smacked a three-bagger of his own in the eighth inning, but the Bombers couldn’t cash him in.       Advice: Nola scattered a pair of hits and recorded five strikeouts on Wednesday afternoon at Citizens Bank Park, combining with relievers Jeff Hoffman and José Alvarado on a three-hit shutout. The 31-year-old righty has been a model of consistency over the last few weeks, allowing two earned runs or fewer in five consecutive starts since May 14.
